We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"McAfee synchronizes security across the security fabric.""The most valuable features are the integration with different modules like the DLP.""It has a very good interface.""The most valuable feature is the security, which is very effective compared to other products.""The features that I have found most valuable are its ability to detect and delete known malware and the DLP in particular.""The good part of this solution is that it protects the systems from malware etc. It also has a good user interface.""It can be set up easily and then connected with the server to get the latest updates."

"The monitoring in the management console allows us to find out what is going wrong, and it gets reports even before the user reports it.""The most valuable feature is the endpoint protection system.""The most valuable feature is the centralized console, which can handle different products that we have.""Good file integrity monitoring features."

Cons
"They could try to introduce advanced threat detection.""The advanced threat protection is not as good as our competitors.""It's an expensive solution.""The dashboard should be improved, as a more user-friendly version is required.""They could improve the monitoring and classification of the data features.""Sometimes, the updates don't happen successfully. The updates start, but they are not completed. Let's say there is a process that runs on the server-side every night, and it pushes the updates. Sometimes, these updates fail. I'm not sure whether it is a McAfee's problem or an internal problem with our systems. If this is really an issue with McAfee MOVE AntiVirus, McAfee can work on it and improve it in the next release. If it is an internal issue, I need to figure out why it is happening within the organization. We may need to take some technical support from McAfee to see what the problem is and then we need to get it fixed. At this point in time, all I know is that it happens sometimes.""This solution is okay for users who are just office personnel. Developers or users who heavily use their laptops complain that it really slows down their laptops. Using this solution can be a big challenge from the performance perspective if you need a productive system that locally runs multiple VMs."

"There is plenty of room for improvement with this product, and it could start with platform metrics.""This solution clashes with Microsoft defender, which results in performance degradation on the machine.""They need to develop a more flexible product that can be scaled such that it fits well into a small business or a bigger, enterprise-level solution.""Could have better reporting capabilities and better support."
