Quotes From Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"It lets us automate almost anything, even with the legacy tools. It is very easy for us now to automate with legacy tools, which used to be difficult earlier. We work with a lot of other automation tools from Micro Focus, such as Operation Orchestration, but these tools can only connect to the API. So, there was a gap when we wanted to automate older and legacy tools that didn't have any API to connect to. We can now also automate without any changes in the customer environment. We don't need to change anything in the way that the customer environment works."

"Technical support is available regionally and it's quite good.""We have talked to Microsoft. We're a large company and we're talking to Microsoft on a regular basis. We have a partner we talk to when it comes to Automate. We are absolutely satisfied with technical support.""I like the scalability option and the simplicity, the way we can really use the interface to easily scale up.""There is an exhaustive amount of templates that users have access to.""The solution offers a lot of documentation and tutorials for users to learn about various aspects and features.""It is a great solution for simple automation activities or simple automation of simple tasks. It is also integrated with Office 365. Integration is an absolute breeze with any RPA software.""So far, the tech support has provided me with good enough support and knowledge.""We have a good overview of our processes now thanks to Power Automate."

Cons
"It currently supports only on-premises deployments. They can include support for cloud deployments. It should provide us the ability to choose a robot for executing a workflow. We want to control which robot executes a certain workflow. Right now, it automatically chooses the robot that is going to execute our workflow. It should also provide the ability to get filters on the outputs of the steps. We have each workflow as a step, and each step has some output. We would like to have the functionality to execute some script or some logic on these outputs to format the tests directly on the variables."

"The connectors and the integration capability can be improved. Microsoft RPA is a growing platform, and it is not yet particularly mature.""There is an RPA feature gap between this solution and other more mature products.""They can build more templates and more connectivity with other platforms. They can provide a more user-friendly way to connect with other platforms. They have their own in-built plugins for certain third-party vendors, but there are still a lot of third-party vendors that are not there.""The solution lacks maturity.""When compared to other workflow automation tools out there, it's just not as mature.""There should be more transparency when it comes to which features accompany the pricing, as there appear to be hidden features of which I am not aware.""It's not as user-friendly as a solution such as UiPath, which is really easy to use.""Technical support needs to be able to respond quickly to queries. Right now, they are much too slow."

Pricing and Cost Advice
"The pricing model is very straightforward. You can have a one-year or three-year subscription. You pay for each robot that you want to use simultaneously. If you want, you can install 50 robots and get 50 licenses. If you want to use only one robot at a time, you just need one license. For each license, you pay around 10% or 15% to support. You pay for the license, and you pay a small percentage of the cost of the license for support. This is their licensing model, which is very easy to understand."

"I don't deal with the financial side. I know that we pay for a per-user license. It is probably less than $20 a user, but I am not sure about the exact figures.""The price is right. If you have Office 365 It's included.""You pay for use and if you want a premium connector or adapter, but a lot of things are available for free.""There is zero licensing cost. It comes with our Microsoft Office subscription.""We are just using the free products at the moment. We are using the ones that come with the license that we have got.""It depends and varies a lot according to the licensing terms. There is no cost to maintain if we have less than 10 forms. Microsoft only charges if there are more than 10 forms. So, most of the companies can survive without paying anything extra. It is included in the Office 365 licensing.""The licensing cost for us at this time is between $8 and $20 per user, per month.""It costs us nothing because we use it on the built-in cost that is a part of our existing license for 365. To use it more extensively, there are different pricing models. Its licensing is complex. It is complex to evaluate the cost in advance. As a result, people don't use it because they don't know what overall cost they are going to incur. There are too many criteria to figure out how much it is going to cost you to use the product to its full extent. Its licensing model should be improved, and the pricing should be more visible and transparent."
