We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The integration between the applications is the most valuable. I can share things using my phone, computer, and OneDrive. It is very stable and fast. It is also user-friendly and scalable.""The most valuable features have been the performance and ease of use.""It is easy to use.""The pricing is reasonable.""My favorite feature is the collaboration.""It's easy to use.""We are satisfied with technical support.""This product has great interoperability and ease of integration."

Cons
"Sometimes it is quite hard to get a grasp on what features are going to be available at what time. For instance, we had to wait for a very long time on the breakout rules in Teams. There is a roadmap and there are also some blog posts, but you never know when you're going to get it. So it would be preferable to get it more in advance.""At least a basic collaboration tool or project management tool should be included in the solution for the price we pay.""The platform's security aspect needs improvement. They should include an inbuilt security feature.""The security sites need to be simplified and the technical support needs improvement.""It would help, if, in the beginning, there was an onboarding process to show how to set it up properly or how to set up the things properly, or how to have the support they need or the guidance on how they should deploy it. In some cases, there are things that are not so crystal clear.""The Teams feature doesn't allow for sharing location which Office 365 had.""The OneDrive part could be more user-friendly, because many people want to use it.""The solution could improve the user interface a little bit to make it easier to navigate."

"The conferencing feature does not work well with multiple parties or locations.""The product should allow users to assign tasks and automate processes.""There needs to be a restriction on who can download content.""The implementation could be made easier."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Depending on which plan you purchase, there are a plethora of applications available to you."
  • "Compared to buying a license, it is much cheaper and a good buy."
  • "We do monthly billing, however, I'm not sure what the exact costs are. We may pay around $1,000/month. We started using the Microsoft Teams and we've started doing the conference call feature, so that's another $4 an account and we have a few accounts using that right now."
  • "USD $1,250 annually for the standard package."
  • "Pricing can vary a lot due to fluctuations in exchange rates and that is not favorable for planning."
  • "Now you can select different licenses, for example, if somebody doesn't need all of the features, it would cost $8 USD per month and if they didn't need the email application then it would cost $6 USD per month."
  • "It works out to be $12.50 per user per month."
  • "Microsoft 365 Business will be good to have if you have a large organization where you have more than 3000 employees. Other cheaper solutions, like Gmail, are easily available in the market."
