"The most valuable feature is the ease of management. It's important.""The most valuable feature is the seamless integration across different clouds.""All of the features are valuable because all of the features are related.""It is very easy to use, which is what we look for in these types of solutions.""We have become more aware of what services our users are using, how often they are using them, and what data is being sent out of the organization and to which services. So, it is really a lot about visibility and helping us make decisions based on that. It drives some of our policy decisions for adding extra security controls.""Better logging allows us to find problems and take appropriate steps to lock them out.""The feature that helps us in detecting the sensitive information being shared has been very useful. In addition, the feature that allows MCAS to apply policies with SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive is being used predominantly."

"Technical support is fantastic.""The most valuable features are vulnerability detection and the scanning capability to enable identification of vulnerabilities across our network.""What I like about Qualys VM is the dashboard presentation. It's very good.""It's a good product. After the scan our internet works well. It scans our security posture.""It is very easy to use and there are lots of options. We can usually easily go through it and all of the things we want to configure, and we can configure everything to our specifications very easily.""The initial setup was good. We didn't have any problems with it.""Technical support is great and we've never really had a problem.""The features that are most valuable are the identification, scan features, and the identification of vulnerabilities."

Cons
"I would like to see a graphical representation of the entire network.""It would be useful if they had a malware protection engine running inside their own VM.""This solution does not give us full, 360-degree protection.""I would like to see integration with SecurNX in the future.""The reporting could be improved by way of the information that's displayed. For example, when you pull a report, it shows an internal employee going to many websites, but you can spin that right down by saying a lot of it is being cached.""It has happened in the past that Cisco Umbrella has denied us access to secure websites.""In the next release, I would like to see the integration of VDI NSX with Cisco Umbrella.""They need to improve analytics so they report on more of the specifics of user activity."

"Generally, the pricing can always be improved along with the management system.""The interface needs to be more user-friendly.""I would like for it to be available on Mac and for it to support all of the features of Microsoft financing products. It is really for Windows.""This service would be better if it had a separate license, only for this service, that could be used to track usage.""They should continue integration with all other Microsoft security-related products. The integration with all the other products is still ongoing.""In the future, I would like to see more plug-and-play capabilities that use AI to tell you what needs to be done. It would be helpful if it scanned our devices and made security suggestions, on a configuration basis.""It takes some time to scan and apply the policies when there is some sensitive information. After it applies the policies, it works, but there is a delay. This is something for which we are working with Microsoft."

"It's quite complex on the way it is set up, so it takes a fair bit of time in order to get your head around it in order to deploy it. Once you've deployed it, then you're never confident on the versions of the browsers and the SSL certificates, etc. You have to always go back into Qualys and check.""I would like to see this solution more developed and competitive in the Cloud space.""The customer support is very bad.""The reporting needs improvement. It should generate much more stuff like field reports.""Sometimes we face a problem with accessing the tool and not getting an expected result. From a technology point of view, they need to look into this.""The ability to manage user accounts and give rights to the operator to know about abnormalities of applications is something that needs improvement.""We are moving away from Qualys to Defender ATP because I find that Defender ATP is much better at prioritizing the vulnerabilities that I should be looking at.""I would like to see more accuracy in detections, better reporting capabilities, and better dashboard download capabilities."

Pricing and Cost Advice
"Licensing fees are paid on a yearly basis.""Cisco has a model called ELA. With ELA, if you buy the solution you will have the complete security portfolio and you can pay it yearly or after three years, it depends on the contract.""I am not sure, I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I think it's $1.00 or so per device/month.""Cisco uses subscription models for the pricing and there are three subscription plans.""The licensing part for Umbrella is really flexible.""There are three models for licensing with different feature sets.""I think it's worth the money.""The price of Cisco Umbrella is a little higher than similar solutions, like Gateway."

"We have an educational licensing agreement. It's a customer agreement for multiple years.""This product is not expensive.""Our clients normally use the Microsoft E1 licensing, which is renewed yearly.""The pricing is a little bit high but right now, we are okay with it because of the compatibility with Office 365, Teams, and Azure AD.""I'm not totally involved in the pricing part, but I think its pricing is quite aggressive, and its price is quite similar to Netskope. Netskope has separate licensing fees or additional charges if you want to monitor certain SaaS services, whereas, with MCAS, you get 5,000 applications with their Office 365. It is all bundled, and there's no cost for using that. You only have the operational costs. In the country I am in, it is a bit difficult to get people with the required skill sets."

"They have recently changed the pricing model, which is now better than it was before.""It is different for every company, but for us, it's every three years.""Qualys is cheaper and more affordable than other solutions.""The pricing and licensing for Qualys could be improved."
