We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It is a great solution for simple automation activities or simple automation of simple tasks. It is also integrated with Office 365. Integration is an absolute breeze with any RPA software.""The most valuable features of Microsoft Power Automate are user-friendliness and low coding functionality.""The most valuable features of Microsoft Power Automate are the ease of use and the templates that are provided. I no longer need to make the document from scratch. I can search for what template I want and then it only requires me to modify it a bit for my needs. Additionally, it's helped improve my productivity and efficiency, and at the same time, it's quicker.""The solution is very easy to use. It's a code three platform that works very easily with documents to create custom automations.""Its usability is very valuable because it has a quite simple flow. It is very user-friendly. It provides you templates. I started learning with the help of Teams templates, and then I started providing them. It is always good to start with a template so that you understand how it works. Its branches are quite user-friendly. You can put expressions in it. It allows you to link and test the flow so that you can check whether everything is running properly. From a business standpoint, Power Automate is quite good for a non-tech person. It is not like Java, HTML, or C++, which are very developer-driven. Power Automate is a more business-oriented kind of tool.""Good core applications.""The development time for ProcessRobot is very good compared to other solutions.""The initial setup is pretty straightforward."

"Using the tool actually ends up teaching you about making workflows more efficient.""The workflow system is very intuitive.""It was very smooth and very seamless to create automations.""Pega is also broadening its landscape by building on top of PRPC (CRM, EPC, etc.), and with a cloud offering available, it is a genuine contender to compete with Salesforce.""We have a very large operational team and we are able to avoid mistakes and ensure accuracy and speed using Pega.""The most valuable aspect for myself was access to the .net framework. If I couldn't figure something out using the objects that they had provided, I could bring in the .net objects and do so using similar logic that I would in a .net or C sharp coding language. Having that familiarity was helpful.""The most valuable features are the loops to lookup tables to read the data.""The most valuable feature of Pega Robotic Process Automation is the technique: you can create a user interface that can interact with a human being for attended robots."

Cons
"The product should improve its RPA capabilities.""When comparing with Automation Anywhere, there are a couple of things that this product doesn't have. One of the major things is the key management system. It would be great if they improve this. Its documentation can also be improved.""It lacks a lot of functionality that other tools have. There should be queue management, and there should also be the capability to deal with a little bit more complex automation. If it had queue support and if it was capable of doing more complex automation, it would be a much better tool.""It doesn't have any OCR capabilities.""It is mostly integrated with the Microsoft environment. Unlike UiPath, we cannot really use external tools with Microsoft Power Automate. There should be a possibility to integrate it with external tools or systems.""There are some bugs or intermittent behavior in the Excel activities that require using workarounds.""More OCR and AI capabilities are needed to improve the solution. Other solutions have better features, such as Blue Prism and UiPath.""They can improve the description of errors and provide more details. Sometimes, when I receive an error, I can't understand what is wrong. It would be useful to have a desktop version to modify or edit workflows. Its scalability can also be better."

More Microsoft Power Automate Cons →

"You cannot use a two-dimensional array to read the data.""It's difficult not knowing when alerts will arrive.""There have been some scenarios where the bot was not able to replace some of the controls and could not recognize and personalize the task we wanted to automate.""The ease-of-use could be improved.""What I don't like that much in Pega Robotic Process Automation is its monitoring tool because that tool is tightly connected with the platform. If the Pega team can deploy the monitoring tool separately, so that it's a separate solution altogether, then that would be good because currently, if you have to use the monitoring tool, then that means you have to use the Pega Robotic Process Automation platform. The initial setup for Pega Robotic Process Automation also needs improvement because it is complex. The only additional feature I'd like to see in the solution is for the monitoring tool to be a stand-alone rather than being tightly coupled with the Pega platform. Looking at the current features of Pega Robotic Process Automation concerning application automation, it covers most of my needs currently.""The development experience needs to be improved.""I would like to improve the tool's integration features and stability.""The OCR capabilities of the solution could be improved."
