We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"MuleSoft offers with the Anypoint Platform a unified platform for API management and an integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) as well as an on-premise Enterprise Service Bus pattern.""The solution's market place for different kinds of integration platforms is the most valuable feature.""The monitoring capabilities of this product are very good because of the feedback it supplies in statistics.""I have found several things most valuable, including its very quick implementation that you can use a lot of out of the box templates, and lastly that it is a very mature product, especially in hybrid integration.""This is the easiest and best tool available.""API management.""It is very easy to use for building connectors. It comes with a lot of connectors. For example, it has different adapters for NetSuite, which are very easy to use. It also has Salesforce connectors. The object store feature is also really easy to use. Mule Anypoint Platform is also good in terms of performance and how it is managed behind the scenes.""The API toolkit is the solution's most valuable aspect at this time, for our organization."

"A helpful feature for us is the integration with NoSQL databases.""We have contacted their technical support. They are great. They offer very professional help. If I need some technical answer, they are very professional. They are quick, professional, and very accurate.""The initial setup was quite straightforward. The deployment took between two and three days.""You can use Talend as a stand-alone application without customization to collect data and generate reports over dashboards. It's got great functionality.""This solution has improved our overall time to value for data ingestion.""The drag-and-drop feature in the interface is very good.""Talend Studio has the ability to use it to ensure data quality.""We're sold on the customization part of the solution."

Cons
"MuleSoft's release calendar is rather conventional with two major, two minor releases and hotfixes in between. The competition sometimes offer more rapid release cycles and provides improved and new functionality with a faster time-to-market.""Technical support needs to be improved, especially when you need help with more technical aspects of the solution.""The runtime management and connectors could use some work and are vulnerable to breakage after upgrades.""An on-premise setup requires special skills and you need a lot of professional services.""Mule should have better B2B integration.""Lacks intelligent management data and intelligent mappings.""It has different types of subscriptions. For platinum or lower subscriptions, there are not too many things that can be done. We don't see many features. They should release a basic version that has logging and monitoring features. These features should come with Mule Anypoint Platform for free instead of making customers pay separately for these features. Its dashboard can be improved to have a lot of charts so that it is easy to visualize information. The utilization part can be improved. The dashboard is good currently, but it can be better. Other solutions like Elastic have a good dashboard, and they allow you to administer the product from the UI. Currently, for RTF, there is a different dashboard or utility. It would be good to include the same utility in the cloud solution. It would be good if there is a centralized repository that includes the links to the information about various troubleshooting issues. The documentation is there currently, and it is good, but the troubleshooting information is too scattered. We have to go to different links to find troubleshooting information. This kind of centralized repository would be helpful for new customers who are implementing this solution. It will be helpful to see different kinds of issues that can occur.""The terms of use and how it's priced has become very difficult to manage, which is forcing us to look for alternatives already - and we haven't even been using it for that long just yet."

"The price for Talend Data Integration should be less expensive.""If I compare Open Studion to other solutions, their interface is robust but not so fancy looking. This is an area that could use improvement. I would like to see an updated interface.""The profiling perspective needs improvement. Instead of using it in the studio, we are using a different tool which is also provided by Talend. It's redundant.""There used to be many Youtube channels that offered Talend training, but now there don't seem to be any. The solution should offer more online training resources.""Inter-version compatibility is a problem, and migration projects between versions are required.""Having additional training materials, such as a video tutorial, would be an improvement.""The technical support and documentation need a lot of work to come up to standard.""It gets the job done but it's a bit slow."
