We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Nagios Fusion version 12.8 excels in user-friendly GUI design, cost-effectiveness, and ease of deployment.""It's very easy to manage and monitor it.""Being open source lets us customize it for our monitoring needs, saving us money.""It is easier for client installation, and the configurations are doable even for a newcomer in the field."

"It also does a good job when it comes to optimizing performance with machine learning and AI. It's able to identify the VMs that are constrained and not constrained, and which ones are "bully" or not. It gives you a recommendation based on your usage. It learns your user environment.""The most valuable feature of Nutanix Prism is the single location management. You can manage everything from one location HTML5 web interface which is highly intuitive. The solution is easy to use, you do not need to be an expert in storage.""The most valuable feature is that, when you log in, you have customized dashboards. You can add widgets to those dashboards and you can change the density of certain data points in the dashboards. When I log in, I quickly see where the cluster lies, as far as memory and CPU resources go.""The features that I have found most valuable are its storage flexibility, linear scalability, and perhaps ease of use and powerful support.""I like the general usability for general configuration. It is sufficient for everyday operations.""What I like the most are the self-healing and the ability to see everything at a glance, from metrics to the resiliency status of the hardware. As soon as you log in, that's what you see.""Has a user-friendly UI with a centralized console.""The most valuable feature is the solution's single-pane-of-glass approach to consolidating all of the various metrics and interfaces that I would typically have to access via multiple screens in other products. The ease of use would probably be the single biggest selling point."

Cons
"In future iterations of this solution, there is a desire for more seamless integration with other monitoring software.""Nagios Fusion should include a 'remember me' option when logging in, so we don't need to enter a username and password every time.""Adding application performance monitoring to the product alongside infrastructure monitoring would make it a more complete and useful solution.""There are some bugs, although not that many. There are some situations where the solution is not stable but the number of problems is not very high."

More Nagios Fusion Cons →

"Nutanix Prism needs more flexibility commercially and more flexibility with their licensing. Currently they're very fixed on their licensing model, for example, it's based on terabyte calculation.""There are no firewall policies.""Nutanix Prism could improve by having more features or configurations in the web interface. We should not have to use the command-line interface(CLI). For some clients using the CLI can be difficult.""There are some things that you can only do via the command line. Over the years that I've been using Nutanix, they've slowly integrated those into Prism, but they're still trying to catch up with a solution that has been around longer, like VMware.""The process of converting and importing virtual machines to the Nutanix environment is quite complicated.""No integration of commands to manage AHV.""Although this solution has very good analytics capabilities, it can be even more granular.""The solution does not support creating hybrid disc clusters."
