Find out in this report how the two IT Infrastructure Monitoring solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The most valuable features are infrastructure monitoring and application performance monitoring (APM)."
"It has in-depth analysis using developer code for someone whose not traditionally a developer."
"New features are added often."
"What I like best about New Relic APM is its user interface because it's simple. The most valuable feature of New Relic APM is end-to-end monitoring."
"We use it for monitoring, identifying when services go down, or when they are outside of what we would consider normal operations."
"It offers helpful user metrics so we can learn more about the user experience."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to receive in-depth information about applications. It can detect a lot of important information."
"The monitoring so far has been good and we are happy with it."
"It includes a valuable feature called Discovery, that aids in application portfolio management, enabling visibility into IT infrastructure from top to bottom."
"As a product, ServiceNow IT Operations Management is pretty strong, and it can discover non-IP devices."
"The solution is very capable and user friendly."
"The solution allows you to subscribe to the features you need and utilize CMDB, ITSM, and discovery on the same platform."
"It's easy to set up."
"Their Event Management is very good."
"It is flexible. You can tune it, more or less, as you want."
"Provides everything in one solution."
"New Relic APM can improve the information when we dig deeper to check a problem. There should be more detailed information provided."

"The price could improve."
"I would like an infrastructure network that provides real-time views, showing the issues."
"I would like if it could have predictive analysis. Today, we only have the option to configure thresholds."
"Documentation could be improved in New Relic APM, so users would have more clarity on configuring the dashboard. If New Relic gave better guidelines, users would find it easier to understand the metrics and features of New Relic APM. Another area for improvement is integration with Kubernetes. Currently, the process isn't user-friendly. It's challenging and lacks documentation for users to understand how to integrate New Relic APM with Kubernetes quickly. With multiple levels of Kubernetes dockers and other DBs on different clouds, it's tricky to gather all into New Relic APM on a single dashboard. What I'd like to see in the next version of New Relic APM is a single dashboard where you can easily view which applications fall under specific APMs. If there's a search feature where you can type in a keyword to find out if an APM is related to a particular application, that would be great."
"New Relic APM is a good tool, and it has a database of failures, but it could use a list of customer-specific failures. New Relic APM should be able to give my company advanced analytics through AI."
"There were some settings we had issues with."
"At times, it got cumbersome from the project management perspective. It could have been because of the way we were using it. I found Microsoft Project to be more extensive and robust than ITOM."
"There is room for improvement in the stability of ServiceNow."
"ServiceNow IT Operations Management could do a little bit better with integrations. Integrating ServiceNow IT Operations Management with CMDB processes needs a little more work."
"An area for improvement for ServiceNow IT Operations Management is making service mapping and discovery easier for non-IP devices."
"Even though they call it low code there are a lot of customizations needed, especially from an ITOM standpoint."
"Enhancing automation-related solutions, such as Wi-Fi, porting, machinery, and product automation would help to achieve better operational outcomes."
"The time for deployment of ServiceNow IT Operations Management depends on many factors. It's a SaaS application, it should not take too long, but if you want to define the tool based on your processes, then it would take some time. It fully depends on the company's complexity. There are out-of-the-box product flows and if you want to use them, you can from day one. However, if you want to customize it and change it to your company's practices, then it will take more time. The setup could be faster."
"I would like more manual issues to have automated report-facing options."
