Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The support response time and the freedom from strange bugs and strange things happening in the software are valuable.""When we started with identity and access management, we cleaned up and skipped 500 accounts. Therefore, there are a lot of people who are still in our system. Using this tool, we have cleaned up a lot of accounts for ourselves as well as our partners and suppliers. So, we can manage everything now.""The support for the validity of the resources is valuable. The tool allows resource assignments within a validity period so that the managers do not have to remember to revoke the access once the work is done.""You can make resources. You can import them from Azure or Active Directory and put them in an application. For example, if there is an application that uses a lot of Active Directory groups, you can make the groups available for people. If they need to access that application, you can tell them the resource groups you have for that application. People can do everything by themselves. They do not need anybody else. They can just go to the Omada portal, and they can do it all by themselves. That is terrific.""The administrative features and SoD are valuable.""Omada's best feature is creating accounts, automatically assigning permissions, and distributing resources based on assignment policies.""We don't have to go in and do a lot of the work that we did before. It may have saved us somewhere in the range of 10 to 30 percent of the time we spent on provisioning access.""We are able to onboard new user accounts much faster by automating the process and standardizing our operations globally. Previously, there were many individual processes and manual admin interactions. We also see a lot of cost savings and benefits because through automation and standardization."

"OneLogin is efficient.""The most valuable feature is the ease with which we can manage the sign-on feature.""The single sign-on and the fact that we can integrate everything in one place and control from there were valuable features of this solution.""It's super useful to have a single pane of glass when it comes to access management.""The solution's ability to save and manage of all my passwords is great.""The solution allows the user to search logs based on a specific time.""In my role, the most valuable features are two-factor authentication and self-service password reset. The most helpful feature for the institution as a whole is probably the single sign-on. As an IT director, I care about security and ease of use.""Ease of integration with AD."

"It is very easy to use. It addresses most of the trends in identity governance and risk management.""Saviynt is easy to configure and manage.""Saviynt has better integration with enterprise systems like SAP, Microsoft, Adobe, and AWS.""It gives very good and in-depth knowledge about a particular identity. Everything is through a single click. We get to know the workflows related to a particular identity with a single click.""It's a highly functional system and a very well rounded solution. The onboarding of applications is solid. Their user access reviews are very good. Their role-based model and their identity life cycle stuff are solid. It's a very well rounded, strong product.""Considering the initial cost and the basic features, this is a good solution that provides integration with both on-premise and cloud applications.""The most valuable features of Saviynt are database utility and report generation. These two features have a major impact, particularly when you are trying to create a report because, in other systems, you need to use a third-party utility such as a BI tool or any other reporting tool to fetch the data and send out the report to a third party team. In Saviynt, it's a system within a system, so you don't have to use any third-party tool because you can directly do your query and write that code on Saviynt and then send that report to the team.""It is a flexible tool because it works on JSON."

Cons
"I would like to see them expand the functionality of the tool to continue to be competitive with the monsters out there. For example, they could add functionality on the authentication side, functionality that Octa and SailPoint have. But they should do that while maintaining the same simplicity that makes Omada a product of choice today.""Omada could communicate better with us about the product roadmap. We haven't gotten any updates about it. The user interface is often a bit difficult to understand. It isn't optimized for small screens, so it doesn't display all of the information clearly, so users need to scroll a lot.""The security permission inside Omada needs improvement. It's tricky to set up.""The reporting and importing have room for improvement.""They need to improve the cost for small companies.""The web GUI can be improved.""If you find an error and you need it fixed, you have to upgrade. It's not like they say, "Okay, we'll fix this problem for you." You have to upgrade. The last time we upgraded, because there was an error in a previous version, we had to pay 150,000 Danish Krone (about $24,000 at the time of this review) to upgrade our systems... That means that we have to pay to get errors fixed that Omada has made in programming the system. I hope they change this way of looking at things.""Functionality and usability could be improved."

More Omada Identity Cons →

"More off-hour support.""OneLogin needs to increase the number of connectors available out of the box to connect to the different endpoints. The number of out-of-box connectors should be increased.""This product doesn't necessarily provide us with all of the functionality that we need, such as being able to share passwords with external users.""I'd like OneLogin to have a customization section that displays the company's offerings, categorized by different topics.""In terms of managing the users on a large scale, it would be easier if they had some kind of user management portal.""The solution keeps going down for many hours, which impacts the entire company. You can't access any applications. OneLogin Desktop has a huge problem where it locks your computers and you need to reset the whole computer, which is pretty insane.""We've been experiencing some pain points since the acquisition. For example, there have been some outages we didn't see previously, which are a big topic with my executive team. You have hundreds of applications relying on this service for login. If the service is unavailable, nobody can log into these applications.""To offboard, you have to manually click on this checklist, each of the checkmarks. It would actually be really nice if, for offboarding someone, you just click "offboard" and it automatically runs a script to do that."

More OneLogin by One Identity Cons →

"It should support more customizations. In SailPoint, we can do many customizations, but we are not able to do that in Saviynt. For workflows and other things, we can only use what is already in place. Saviynt has a lot of scope for improvement on the customization part.""The configuration process at the beginning can be difficult, depending on the complexity of the company.""The customer support and implementation services need to be improved.""The custom application integration is a little complex, and this tool doesn't provide so many plugins or additional applications.""The tool is difficult to migrate.""The solution is hosted on AWS cloud, and there is some dependency that affects our bottom line.""The solution does not work very well as the number of users increases.""The product's stability is not easy to maintain."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The pricing is too high for SMBs."
  • "Omada continues to be very competitive on pricing, especially on the Omada cloud product."
  • "The initial total cost of ownership to implement Omada Identity is not small. The TCO for the implementation is as high as any other solution. However, the cost of maintaining the solution is at par or lower than competitors, including adding more features or maintaining the system after the initial deployment or installation to make sure that they are available for users to use or extending the functionalities of those activities. Those maintenance costs are lower than other vendors, but the initial cost of getting the system installed is still high."
  • "It is licensed per managed user per year."
  • "There were a lot of administrator, partner, and supplier accounts for people who were no longer working for us but still in the system. So, we reduced the number of users no longer with the company, which saved us some money on licensing."
  • "It's a fair price for the on-premises system. Compared with what we had before, it's much cheaper and we get all the modules in one. We tried to go with the cloud, but it was far too expensive."
  • "From an on-prem point of view, the cost is quite transparent and reasonable. The direct cost is primarily for licenses and maintenance on licenses."
  • "My client deals directly with the Omada Identity team in terms of licensing. I never look at pricing, so I'm not aware of how much the solution costs, but it's worth the money. Often, when you begin to use Omada Identity and it takes a while to set up, it'll be irreversible, and you'd depend on and focus more on the functionality of the solution, rather than its price tag."
  • More Omada Identity Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "Surprisingly expensive given the price of on-premise solutions."
  • "The pricing for OneLogin seems to be okay. The pricing and licensing are affordable. If you'd consider OneLogin to be expensive, it's worth it."
  • "The price of the licensing is fine."
  • "The pricing and licensing are reasonable. It is much cheaper than other products."
  • "We were happy with the price we got when we signed up, but I don't know what will happen when the time comes to renew because it is a different company now. We haven't seen any pricing models or had that discussion yet. My renewal is a year and a half away. It's worth what we're paying for it. There's no way we could provide the level of service for cheaper or try to do the same in-house."
  • "OneLogin's pricing, from the perspective of the education sector, seems quite reasonable for the value it delivers."
  • "While I wish OneLogin's pricing was more affordable, their licensing model, which is based on per user, is acceptable."
  • "It was cheap in the beginning, and then it became very expensive. We were initially charged $2 per user per month, which was fine, but by the second year, they increased it to $5 per user. That became very expensive for us because we had about 1,500 users. At $2 per user, it comes out to be $3,000 a month, which is $36,000 a year. If we move to $5 per user, it comes out to be $7,500 a month. That made its cost so high. That is why we removed the product because the cost was high."
  • More OneLogin by One Identity Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "If you need to make any changes then there are additional fees."
  • "The price of the license for this product is quite expensive."
  • "We are not into the licensing part. The clients take care of the licensing part."
  • "Saviynt's pricing is acceptable and licensing costs are yearly."
  • "The product is less expensive than one of the competitors."
  • "Saviynt has a competitive price."
  • "If you are investing in securing your data and avoiding any non-compliance issues, then yes, it is certainly recommended. To put it plainly, if you're willing to pay fines and aren't concerned about the misuse of data, then there might not be a problem. However, if you intend to safeguard the data of your employees, vendors, and customers, it becomes crucial. In this context, managing data security requires preventive and detective measures, such as enforcing segregation of duties and regularly reviewing permissions. Throughout an individual's life cycle within an organization or customer life cycle, various access permissions are granted. Without taking action on these permissions, there is a risk of exposure later on. If individuals retain access after leaving the organization, it poses a serious security threat. Implementing solutions like Saviynt can address these challenges, ensuring continuous access review, generating reports, alerts, and identifying potential risks."
  • "Saviynt's pricing is reasonable."
