Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most important feature we've found is the Enscripts. That is one powerful feature that I, personally, love to use.""It indexes much faster, and is more reflexive because of the Enscripts.""It speeds up the process, so I can meet my deadlines.""The solution is very stable.""Data Recovery: Its ability to repair damaged partitions and uncover hidden partitions from within the tool, and allow further analysis.""The technical support is excellent.""I like the processing feature on the product because it does everything at once, i.e, indexing, recovery, keyword searches, etc."

"Being able to keep track of the endpoints and the data that is available from the endpoints is valuable. We can see the patch levels, whether Windows endpoints are active or inactive, and who is the last user that was logged on. We get a lot of granular information that is valuable even what we are not talking from a security standpoint.""The solution's in-place upgrades have been very helpful.""One of the features that convinced us to adopt SentinelOne was that the solution can recognize and respond to attacks with or without a network connection. That is very important.""We love the API. We use it to generate robust reporting, and we also developed tools to perform agent actions remotely without needing to provide all IT staff with console access.""The GUI is really easy to use.""The best thing is it has a secure shell command that you can use to get into any endpoint and do some jobs.""The strength of SentinelOne is that it has an automated, active EDR. It does that first level of what a SOC analyst would do, automatically, using artificial intelligence, so we can focus on other things. Active EDR not only notifies you, but it actually fixes that first level. That is unheard of. Very few, if any, companies do that.""The most valuable feature of SentinelOne is the EDR functionality. We are protected against threats, such as ransomware."

Cons
"The reporting is a bit unreliable. It needs to be better.""We have come across problems with the end-case. We could not find an email discovery type of module and there was not flexibility with the email.""I would like to see a capability to ingest and absorb more data. That would be really good. It currently is lacking this function.""In the past, incident response time for tech support was slow.""There were minor UI bugs.""Sometimes the application can take more time to complete the image processing or fail at the end of the process.""Ease of use and learning curve need improvement."

"I rate Singularity Cloud Workload Security's stability a four out of ten.""The agent update is not the most intuitive process, but I understand why they do it. We have a pretty vertical 64-bit environment for Windows. That is pretty much all we have, but we get alerts for things like the new Linux endpoint or things that do not apply to us. That is probably the only thing that I do not like. There may be some way to turn that off so that I do not get endpoint update alerts from platforms that are not applicable to our system, enterprise, or network.""The management console.""The learning curve was a little steep.""The grouping feature needs improvement.""The way Singularity Complete handles blocking external mass storage is annoying because it is so difficult to unblock single endpoints.""The mobile agents need improvement, especially in their integration with the dashboard of the normal Windows Image-based agents.""I would like to see a better control panel for the managed service side of it."

  • "Our licensing fees are about $5 USD per endpoint, per month."
  • "USD$6 per end point which decreases as end points increase."
  • "Pricing is a bit of a pain point. That's where we have not been able to convince all of our customers to use SentinelOne. The pricing is still on the higher side. It's almost double the price, if not more, of a normal antivirus, such as NOD32, Kaspersky, or Symantec."
