We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It's very easy to find any customer-related data.""Oracle CRM is a versatile solution with many features and functionalities that makes it a suitable solution for many different business use cases.""Technical support is very fast. It's customer friendly.""Oracle CRM's best feature is its ability to customize as per specific organization's requirements.""It is one of the most proficient CRM tools out there. It is comprehensive and scalable. It covers most of the CRM activities, business lines, and business requirements.""The solution is scalable.""It has a wide variety of use cases.""The solution is smooth, easy to use, easy to customize and it has many features. Plus, there are regular updates."

"You can enable it for business users or marketing users to use it in a self-service way. So, the technical team is needed to build the features or processes, and then those processes can be used in a self-service way by your non-technical users.""SAP Marketing Automation is user-friendly. The interface is nice and clear. You can see the different diagrams and define various filters and targets. You can also export the customer information you collect to make the campaign. It's easy to understand how this information is entered. There are also a lot of platforms that show the results of campaigns. You can customize your data and define different reports, but SAS also provides a standard report."

Cons
"In the planning area in order to calculate commissions the function could be improved. Currently, we are not using that functionality because it is very basic.""The product is complicated to use for new users.""The interface could be more user friendly. It is currently not intuitive, and it can be better. The onboarding process for the end users of this solution could be easier, and there should be a few more things for user knowledge and training. It takes a lot of technical knowledge to get used to it.""I would like to remove all manual work and get the benefits of the function that Oracle provides without any manual interference or paperwork.""Their support could be faster. Like any other solution provider, in some cases, it takes time to get their response, and sometimes, they do not fix the issue in the first round. Therefore, we have to go through another round.""The one thing that I hate about it is when you pay for services for a certain amount of time, the service ends just before it should be over. For example, I may pay for a month of service, but it will tell me the service is over before the month ends.""The product's UI lags, and with all the new technologies, it is not quick enough to adopt them.""Though Oracle CRM's support has a good reaction time, it needs to be better."

"The product is highly customizable, but the marketing and business teams want a lot of things to be built out of the box. A lot of features that could be out of the box aren't there. The main concern is to keep the system in such a way that it provides you with some out-of-the-box features and some customizable features as well.""You need to buy connectors to integrate Marketing Automation with various suppliers. For example, if I want to see the data through Power BI, I need a connector to see the data directly. Otherwise, you need to do everything manually. You have to download information from SAS and then save a text file, and then I can import it into Power BI. I would like Marketing Automation to have this native functionality without the need to pay more for connectors."

  • "There are licenses needed to use this solution and they are managed by our product team."
  • "Every year, we have new users, and we get new licenses. It depends on various things such as the number of users and expansion of our business lines."
  • "The licensing is on a yearly basis."
  • "The cost of a license with support is slightly higher than a regular license."
  • "The costing for this solution is very high. It targets top tier companies. This solution can be split up into multiple modules to cater to the low tier customers."

  • "I'm not aware of the full cost. The financials are not with me. In terms of additional costs, there are always OpEx and CapEx. That's one way to look at it. You also need separate hardware to deploy the product."
