We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Having a single vendor supporting the entire suite of applications.""The solution is easy to manage and offers good integration. You can run all the tasks one by one which is really helpful, and pick the day and time to do so.""Oracle Data Integrator helps us build tables and data marts and allows us to schedule them daily, for nearly real-time data warehousing.""The most valuable thing to me is its simplicity. A person with zero knowledge can also develop the integration without having extensive technology knowledgebase. They can also work on creating their own integration.""Oracle integration cloud has got the adapters for all their products, which makes integration faster.""It's on the cloud, so it's scalable and quite easy to work with.""The data is stored in the cloud, making it easy to download data simultaneously into multiple smaller servers, effectively downsizing the process."

"We use Qlik Replicate to change data capture of databases in production environments.""It's very user-friendly when it comes to settings and configuration. It also offers very detailed logging about warnings and errors.""From a technical perspective, this is an excellent product.""The most useful functions of Qlik Replicate are the data manipulation to transformations.""Great with replicating and updating records.""The CDC and the flexibility to use QVD as a source are the most valuable features of Qlik Replicate.""It enables us to transform data at the latest stage rather than in ETL loads, so it's more ELT which is one of the advantages. It is also in near real-time, which brings significant advantage for our embedded analytics approach.""A pretty good series of connectors is one of the best features of Qlik Replicate."

Cons
"The pricing could be more competitive.""I would like to see different cloud adapters or connectors in case of integration. When you have Oracle to Oracle, they are good. They have really good connectors, but if it is a different ERP, like Obsidian, that is where they are faced with problems in OIC.""Bulk uploading can be a problem when you hit the upper limit.""It can be made much easier for users. They should be allowed to easily monitor the data extraction and flow, allowing them to observe real-time data flow within the software, making the process straightforward.""This is an expensive solution compared to other products on the market.""I've found technical support not very effective. They should work to improve their services.""It's lacking a lot of mapping features that Oracle OSB and SOA have. It needs to evolve a lot."

"The solution's flexibility to work with APIs should also be improved since it is very weak in working with APIs.""This product could be improved by providing more insight regarding errors. One of our customers that uses Qlik Replicate has had an issue. We tried to debug it, but we could not trace the error message. The infrastructure site should give us more insight about errors. Qlik Replicate is not a business solution, it's an IT solution. The reporting tools and bug site should be improved.""The UI and data version control can be improved.""We'd like better connectivity.""When you remote into it the Qlik Replicate UI a lot of times it just freezes. We set up the EC2, to allow them to go to the server and click on the Replicate icon, it just opens up and just sits there. At that point, we have to go into the EC2 and then reboot the server. This should be fixed, it is frustrating.""Support for this product is not great. It needs to be improved.""We would like to see more details in messages about errors with the system.""Support-wise, this solution is in need of improvement."
