We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
Its hands-off security and the fact that we don't have to maintain it are the most valuable features. This solution provides a DLP on the cloud and very few people have a scanning device for data at rest.

Technical support is fantastic. There are fewer false positives when using this solution.Tech support is helpful. It is quite easy to implement. It is a simple solution that makes scanning easy. You just give it a scheduled task, and it will do everything for you.The reporting is fine.I find the most valuable features are the continuous monitoring. Even on premises, there is constant monitoring.Monitors workstations and servers for vulnerabilities and creates reports.

Cons
They automatically update and they should give us time to fully understand what they're updating so that we can make sure it doesn't impact production.I would like to see support for custom applications.

It's quite complex on the way it is set up, so it takes a fair bit of time in order to get your head around it in order to deploy it. Once you've deployed it, then you're never confident on the versions of the browsers and the SSL certificates, etc. You have to always go back into Qualys and check.I do not like that all of the data is stored on the cloud. When you want to cover yourself for scalability, you will be charged for the number you place on the scan itself. It is more expensive vs. other products on the market. The only improvement I can think of is on the implementation side. At times it is a bit slow. They have integrated with other third parties, but it is still not viable. When tested on Zero day, there were errors.Improve the API speed.

Overview

Since software as a service is so easy, use of SaaS applications is exploding. Because of that simplicity, though, the security risks of SaaS are also on the rise. Unsanctioned SaaS apps can expose sensitive data and propagate malware, and even sanctioned SaaS adoption can increase the risk of data exposure, breaches and noncompliance. By offering advanced data protection and consistency across applications, Prisma SaaS reins in the risks. It addresses your cloud access security broker needs and provides advanced capabilities in risk discovery, data loss prevention, compliance assurance, data governance, user behavior monitoring and advanced threat prevention. Now you can maintain compliance while preventing data leaks and business disruption through a fully cloud-delivered CASB deployment.

Qualys Vulnerability Management (VM) is a cloud-based service that gives you immediate, global visibility into where your IT systems might be vulnerable to the latest Internet threats and how to protect them. It helps you to continuously identify threats and monitor unexpected changes in your network before they turn into breaches.
