Find out what your peers are saying about SAP, Workday, Oracle and others in Cloud HCM."The time capture from time cards to charging to projects has greatly improved because it is now all automated and flows into the GL very easily."
"We like being able to hire from the Dayforce recruiting module straight into Dayforce and having the file feeds go to our benefits vendor."
"It has created efficiencies in HR and Payroll by eliminating double entry into two systems, implementing a time clock feature for hourly employees, and by having a downloadable general ledger (G/L) constructing journal entering for payroll."
"Our employee benefits enrollment is managed through Ceridian Dayforce, which makes for a limited manual process."
"Ceridian Dayforce HCM is a stable product."
"We have been able to automate many of our manual processes."
"The fact that the time and attendance system is built into the HRIS is very valuable because, in the past, we had to use two different systems."
"The tool has improved a lot in the area of its mobile application, especially considering its added security features, like single sign-on capabilities."
"We have found value in Work.com because it gave us a central place for capturing any opportunities-related information, such as client-related information. Additionally, it is a place for storing this information. Anyone in the organization, if it was being updated actively by the people or by the sales team, could have access to it. Once the contact information is there about any client, then it stays there. If you are approaching a client, you are able to check if there's any history. It's a good tool, but it all depends on how disciplined the sales team is in entering the information regularly."
"It would be nice if retro pay calculations were made automatically for salaried payroll, so a calculation and manual entry do not have to be done."
"I would like to see more built-in forms. This would save a lot of time during the year-end process."
"An area for improvement could be a little more testing before implementing hotfixes to make sure they do not interfere with any active customized products."
"Dayforce has its gaps like every HR system, but nothing comes to mind at the moment."
"I would also like to see some improvement in standard reports. A standard report should be available to pull the required information for Affirmative Action Plans. I do not think I should have to build or create one."
"The solution's dashboards and geofencing could be improved."
"Our current software program offers a home page with important company documents and a place for company announcements. Unfortunately, Ceridian Dayfoce does not offer this."
"Management and reporting of the GL costing could be improved."
"I found Work.com a bit clunky. There were too many fields, but maybe that was the design. It could be company-specific to me. There were overlapping fields and sometimes it was confusing."
