Pros
Qlik offers you all the features needed to extract the raw data from the source systems including an ETL layer to transform the data and to connect the multiple data sources into one data model, easy data sharing, security and scaling features, dashboards, and report functionality to share your data with your end-users.It is a great platform for third party extensions, has an open API, and there are no black boxes.

The associative searching and filtering capability is a unique feature among other BI tools, and one does not need to deeply understand the underlying data. The most valuable feature is flexibility. The most valuable feature is the user experience. The most valuable feature is the interface for the end-user.Qlik Sense makes it very easy to build interactive presentations for meetings. The most valuable feature is the drag-and-drop reporting.Allowing the users to be able to take snapshots and create their own story without ever leaving the application is a very good feature. The integration with R & Python for predictive modeling, and possibly machine learning in the future, is very valuable.

Cons
It would be great if decentralized teams would have more features to manage the metadata on the dashboards, setup the specific user access rights and rules to govern incoming and outgoing data sets from/to other teams, and more features to separate the different data process layers (e.g. extraction, transformation [data quality, business rules]).More freedom for custom visuals and dashboard creation would be an improvement.

There is an inability to effectively manage (pre)caching (scheduling, assigning for respective user groups, etc), especially without community extensions or uour own development.Performing data transformations required a lot of programming, which is something that should be made easier.I would like to have the ability to better customize the visuals including changing fonts, sizing, colors, axes, and titles. We want the next version of this solution to be cloud-based so that each user can access it from anywhere in the world with their phone, tablet, or computer without a VPN connection. It would be nice to have more native features from QlikView built into Qlik Sense.Report generation without the need for NPrinting, which has limited capabilities anyway, would be an improvement. Some of the charts are still a bit basic and screen rendering on different sized monitors can be an issue. As we are a very process-oriented company, we would like to see more extensions maintained from Qlik, because it's a huge budget problem to choose the right one.

Pricing and Cost Advice
Information Not Available
Qlik Sense and its pricing model can follow any scalability.QlikSense offers a Hybrid environment architecture, which is very cost effective based on where the enterprise data resides.Licensing can start to get expensive, but compared to other tools in this space it is about average.Licensing is quite good, easy, but slightly expensive.Costs are a little high on the license/token side. However, if you look at the TCO, it is not too bad, particularly against Power BI.Know your needs when going into the purchasing decision. The costs can initially become quite high. Make sure you have a clear understanding of who will truly use the product as opposed to someone that will simply receive the end report. The new licensing model is much better.
