We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
Allowing the users to be able to take snapshots and create their own story without ever leaving the application is a very good feature. The integration with R & Python for predictive modeling, and possibly machine learning in the future, is very valuable. The most valuable feature of QlikSense is that you can capture the data without modifying it and then perform the ETL (extract, transform, and load) process. We have found the use of AI to be the most valuable feature. This tool not only allows for consumption of the data in a visual way, but also allows the user to modify the question to get new answers. The most valuable features are the mobility and web integration. The UI is very easy to use, with drag and drop self-service analytics. All the necessary information is available to everyone in real time.

Cons
Some of the charts are still a bit basic and screen rendering on different sized monitors can be an issue. As we are a very process-oriented company, we would like to see more extensions maintained from Qlik, because it's a huge budget problem to choose the right one.Currently, we are not very happy with the iPad or iPhone app because it is not working as we want. There is room for improvement in the learning curve when getting started, but training resources have been growing. The product could be improved by implementing a user-feedback ranking system.I would like to have support for table formats without having to use an extension.Advanced graphs or visualizations must be in the built-in product, instead of building with open API extensions or mashups. The next version should include more standard integrations.

Pricing and Cost Advice
Qlik Sense and its pricing model can follow any scalability.QlikSense offers a Hybrid environment architecture, which is very cost effective based on where the enterprise data resides.Licensing can start to get expensive, but compared to other tools in this space it is about average.Licensing is quite good, easy, but slightly expensive.Costs are a little high on the license/token side. However, if you look at the TCO, it is not too bad, particularly against Power BI.Know your needs when going into the purchasing decision. The costs can initially become quite high. Make sure you have a clear understanding of who will truly use the product as opposed to someone that will simply receive the end report. The new licensing model is much better.

I would recommend looking at your usage and whether the Zoho One license model would work for your organisation. It is very cost effective if you use other Zoho tools. An exact ROI is hard to calculate. However, we have definitely made sales that would have been much harder, or unlikely, as a result of the speed with which we were able to prepare comprehensive analysis.
