We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Code Conversion is one of the great features because sometimes, the automation tool doesn't have the capability of maneuvering around two specific evaluations.""Data security was prime for us. Being able to download and run tests on our local machines was a big plus. The flexibility Ranorex offers in terms of customization is outstanding.""I like the recording function and Ranorex Spy.""Object identification is good.""The solution is stable.""The solution is fast and includes built-in libraries that record and playback.""I'm from a UFT background, so Ranorex Studio has a similar feel in terms of how it handles objects. It just felt familiar even though I'd never seen it before. However, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of UFT, but it's a pretty good start, and it's cost-effective.""Support is very quick. You can write to them and on the same day, they will respond. This is one of the best features."

"The most valuable features are tools like IntelliSense and ReSharper.""Its initial setup process is easy.""The solution is very stable.""Visual Studio is an exemplary integrated development environment that stands out due to its exceptional features. It allows for the seamless selection of the appropriate programming language for the specific development tasks at hand. This facilitates a swift and effortless transition between languages, providing a highly efficient development experience.""Easy to use and easily scalable.""Visual Studio is highly powerful. It's probably the best software development tool on the market.""What I like most about Visual Studio Test Professional is the way people publish templates and publish integration.""The ability to quickly make your own components has been valuable."

Cons
"When we have updated the solution in the past there have been issues with the libraries. They need to make it clear that the libraries need to be upgraded too.""There were a lot of issues we faced. One notable improvement would be better API integration within the tool itself, as we still rely on external tools like Postman.""The solution's technical support team could be responsive.""I'd like to know their testing strategies and to know what they can automate and what they can't. It can become pretty frustrating if you're trying to automate something that changes on a monthly or weekly basis.""Binding to other sources is very good but the object recognition in .NET desktop applications often doesn't work.""Part of the challenge is that Ranorex's support is over in Europe, so we can't get responses on the same day. If we had support in the United States that was a bit more timely, that would be helpful.""The solution does not support dual or regression testing.""The automation of the SAP application could perhaps be improved to make it much simpler."

"The pricing of this solution should be lowered.""Over the years, I haven't identified any specific enhancements that I desire; Visual Studio has consistently met my requirements seamlessly and flawlessly.""Sometimes, the solution hangs, so its performance could be improved.""The performance could be faster.""The vendor must release a lightweight version of the solution.""Its UI could be better.""The documents on the Microsoft website are not very useful, and they ought to make it easier to find answers.""The server that we use is very slow so that is concerning for us."
