Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I appreciate all the support we receive from Omada.""The support for the validity of the resources is valuable. The tool allows resource assignments within a validity period so that the managers do not have to remember to revoke the access once the work is done.""Its best feature is definitely the process design. It is quite easy and straightforward to design a process.""The most valuable feature of Omada is its API connectivity, which allows seamless integration with various services like SAP, GRC, and Microsoft licenses.""The best feature in Omada Identity is that it enables us to implement standardized employee life cycle processes so that we don't have to create them ourselves. We can then use the standard workflows. The breadth and scope of the solution’s IGA features also fulfill our requirements.""We used to have a problem where an employee's access wasn't terminated when they left the company. Now, we have much better visibility into and control over who has access.""The most valuable feature in Omada is the governance. We work with other products and other product vendors, but the sweet spot in the market for Omada is where things are heavy on governance.""Omada's onboarding features reflect our processes for onboarding new employees well. That is the primary reason we use this solution. We use role-based access control. I'm not sure how much it has improved our security posture, but it's made managing identities more convenient."

"RSA Identity Governance and lifecycles are good for the access certification and auditing sections.""With the tool in place, you need to hire fewer people to provide access, and you have control over your processes.""The most valuable feature is the security, in particular, the One Time Password support.""The data collection is excellent and easy to do. It does not require a lot of configuration nor does it require rules to be written like other competitors do.""Roles, connectors for provisioning and re-accreditation or reviews help greatly to govern user access."

More RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle Pros →

"The big one now is that they're adding AI and machine learning to figure out automated approvals and make recommendations to their reviewers. So, if I bring up Doug McPherson and it says he has access to this application, the system will make a review based on peer group analysis. That's one of the biggest new things. The problem used to be that people would get everything loaded on, and they created too much work for themselves. Now, they can use these policies and start to let the machine pick the less risky things.""IdentityIQ's best features are the hassle-free user experience and security.""This solution has improved our organization through its ease of application onboarding, approvals, provisioning, and lifecycle UI performance.""The access certification feature is valuable.""It is a scalable product.""The most selling modules for SailPoint are the compliance manager and the life cycle manager.""Access certification and provisioning are two of the solutions most valuable features.""The tool's GUI is user-friendly."

Cons
"The web GUI can be improved.""It is not possible to customize reports on Omada Identity.""The security permission inside Omada needs improvement. It's tricky to set up.""Omada's reporting functionality is limited and could benefit from greater customization.""Omada could communicate better with us about the product roadmap. We haven't gotten any updates about it. The user interface is often a bit difficult to understand. It isn't optimized for small screens, so it doesn't display all of the information clearly, so users need to scroll a lot.""There's a challenge with handling large amounts of data in this system.""The comprehensiveness of Omada's out-of-the-box connectors for the applications we use could be better. We are getting a new HR system called Cornerstone for which they do not have an out-of-the-box connector, so we have to take the REST connector and play around with it.""They need to improve the cost for small companies."

More Omada Identity Cons →

"Technical support in Pakistan can be improved.""If you use the appliance version then it won't handle a huge database volume.""RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle could improve out-of-the-box customization.""There are scalability issues. This product does not scale very well. It is not a good product for load balancing / active–active architecture.""Every connector that you have in the product needs to be custom-built, so there are not a lot of standard connectors available in the product, because of which there are a lot of hidden consultancy costs.""The user interface and workflow need improvement, and more connectors would help.""This product is missing a lot of features which other competitors are providing. One of the key features that are missing right now is risk scoring. Additionally, there is not much scope for customization - everything is hard-coded and predefined, so it does not allow the developers to make many modifications."

More RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle Cons →

"The user interface is not very user-friendly.""SailPoint IdentityIQ needs to improve its customization. It should also incorporate some standardized tools for implementation.""In the past, we had a lot of problems with SailPoint IdentityIQ, particularly in providing access and provisioning. There were some gaps in the operation of the solution because they were manual rather than automated, and the users and administrators were given access directly via Active Directory, and it wasn't appropriate for us at the time to use. In terms of integration, we could provide a more automated solution after a minimum number of years, but not in the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform, but there were problems in the registration, for example, with putting information inside ADP, but in general, we were able to solve those problems, and after implementing SailPoint IdentityIQ we had increased evaluations.""The solution, in general, is quite expensive.""One needs to understand that SailPoint is into full-fledged IAM practice with a long-term vision, and customers will get a quick ROI with best practices implementation.""The report functionality and dashboard of the access manager could be improved.""They can work on their strategy for the on-premise version. They have to decide whether and for how long they will support the on-premise version. The new features first appear in the cloud, and after that, they are released for the on-premise version. In the cloud, you have more options and flexibility, which is absolutely normal. They have to have a clear strategy regarding whether they'll support the on-premises version with the same focus. The licensing for on-premise and cloud is a little bit different. They can make it the same.""I would like to see more Cloud management from this product."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The pricing is too high for SMBs."
  • "Omada continues to be very competitive on pricing, especially on the Omada cloud product."
  • "The initial total cost of ownership to implement Omada Identity is not small. The TCO for the implementation is as high as any other solution. However, the cost of maintaining the solution is at par or lower than competitors, including adding more features or maintaining the system after the initial deployment or installation to make sure that they are available for users to use or extending the functionalities of those activities. Those maintenance costs are lower than other vendors, but the initial cost of getting the system installed is still high."
  • "It is licensed per managed user per year."
  • "There were a lot of administrator, partner, and supplier accounts for people who were no longer working for us but still in the system. So, we reduced the number of users no longer with the company, which saved us some money on licensing."
  • "It's a fair price for the on-premises system. Compared with what we had before, it's much cheaper and we get all the modules in one. We tried to go with the cloud, but it was far too expensive."
  • "From an on-prem point of view, the cost is quite transparent and reasonable. The direct cost is primarily for licenses and maintenance on licenses."
  • "My client deals directly with the Omada Identity team in terms of licensing. I never look at pricing, so I'm not aware of how much the solution costs, but it's worth the money. Often, when you begin to use Omada Identity and it takes a while to set up, it'll be irreversible, and you'd depend on and focus more on the functionality of the solution, rather than its price tag."
  • More Omada Identity Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "Pricing varies based on user count/number of modules you need."
  • "We are using the cloud platform, but we don't find it compatible to be served as a multi-tenant platform. This is a large drawback. It becomes expensive because it is then an all-dedicated solution. You have to have a separate tenant for each client, which increases the cost. The overall unit pricing can be less expensive than how it is right now."
  • "I rate the product's price a five on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive."
  • More RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "SailPoint IIQ is the best of best. That is reflected in the pricing of the solution. The pricing is based on the number of identities."
  • "They are expensive."
  • "The licensing fees are on a yearly basis."
  • "SailPoint is higher in price as compared to Saviynt. The initial cost of SailPoint is very high. There are additional costs to the standard licensing fees."
  • "Its price is okay. It provides good value for money. It is subscription-based. You can go for a one-year or three-year subscription."
  • "The price of the solution could improve, it is not priced well for smaller businesses to afford."
  • "It is a costly solution. Its cost, for sure, should be reduced."
  • "You do pay one price for the license but that price depends on what you choose to include as far as the optional modules go."
