The most valuable features are ease of deployment, ease of use, and the interface.I like that it's cheaper and inexpensive. It's also easy to use.Ubiquiti Wireless is extremely easy to set up.It's a well priced solution and as far as I'm concerned, it's enterprise class. One of the nice features is the backup version control. It's very easy to use. The hardware is very easy to use, compared to Microsoft. Microsoft is more complicated. It has software that is okay if you are familiar with it. In my opinion, Ubiquiti hardware is more heavy duty then Microsoft. This is a high-quality solution that allows us to provide wifi access points in challenging areas.Ubiquiti Wireless is a reasonably priced, easy to use, stable and reliable product.

Cons
It would be nice to some analytical features built into this solution. The pricing, when compared to Ubiquiti, isn't competitive enough. If you want to have a Government or Public sector client they will ask why they should pay 200 euros if they can get something for 40 euros. They could include a firewall feature in the next release but even there it's not really necessaryIntegration with AirMagnet, the design software, would be good because it takes the layout of a building and positions the access points accordingly, based on the areas and the construction materials. The solution could use a better user interface. The support could be faster. It takes time for them to reply.I would like to see built-in Wi-Fi.The captive portal should be more customizable because right now, it is very limited.

I would like a better explanation or better documentation on how to use the onboard spectrum analyzer. They should have more VLAN features and a designing tool like a link planer.o if you are setting up any other third party product or any other different product, it sometimes can be a bit difficult. With Ubiquiti, you need to set up because you can adopt the product and that's it, where if it's not a Ubiquiti product it can sometimes be a difficult setup. There's one feature missing and that is automatic channel assignment.Better third-party integration would be helpful because often, Ubiquity is a product that customers choose after they already have something else from another vendor like HPE.They should make more advanced features for the power users. I am a technician and I am functional, but I do need some features that I find only in Microsoft. There is really nothing wrong with the product but there are ways the utility and features can be expanded to meet future demands. The product lacks some security features.

Pricing and Cost Advice
This is a wonderful product for the price. This solution offers a yearly subscription. The price is not high, other solutions are much higher than Ruckus. The solution is a little pricey, so customers sometimes select other products because of the price.

In South Africa, for some Cisco access points, it will cost you 10,000 Rand ($690 USD), whereas with Ubiquity that same access point will cost you less than 3,000 Rand ($210 USD).The price is reasonable and there's only a one-time payment. We have had this for a long time and I haven't seen any additional fee after paying for the installation.Right now the product is less expensive and of higher quality than other solutions. The product is a very good price. The price of this solution is ok.
