Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The fact that the solution is visually appealing because of its lightning interfaces can be considered one of its most valuable features""Transparency is the most valuable feature of this solution.""The tool is a cloud-based solution capable of integrating any kind of data in the world.""Salesforce Einstein Analytics is a simplified CRM. It's integration is good.""It is a comprehensive solution. It has everything in it. I can easily find what I need.""We have found the scalability to be very good.""The way Salesforce Einstein Analytics is structured in terms of the work assignments and the user profile is very good.""It's scalable."

"Quick deployment to dashboards and analytics features (using SAS Visual Statistics and Enterprise Guide). Easy to create a simple forecast and discover business insights using segmentation tools.""Great for handling complex data models.""It's relatively simple to create basic dashboards and reports.""Visual Analytics is very easy to use. I use Visual Analytics for all the typical use cases except text mining. I used it to analyze data and monitor statistics, not text mining. I also use it for data visualization as well as creating interactive dashboards and infographics.""I use Visual Analytics for enterprise reporting.""The alert generation feature also helps in sending out ad hoc messages to the business users if business thresholds have been crossed.""The technical support services are good.""It's a stable, reliable product."

Cons
"All of the timesheets and appraisal management I have not been happy with. There should be some improvements. For example, as a management team, our managers do not have access to see a summary report, such as who is on leave today or how many hours each person logged in. You have to get into individual users and see. You cannot see a summary report, the reporting is missing. There should improve the reports.""There are some offerings like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud that have very useful online learning options. There need to be more avenues for self-learning with this particular solution. That would be useful.""If a user leaves your organization, you shouldn't lose the visibility of all of the records.""The product must be more transparent.""The product is natively integrated into the Salesforce ecosystem. You also need a CRM license. It should be more flexible with other platforms.""Einstein Analytics could incorporate something like SFIA 8 to help users understand the underlying skill sets.""I would advise others not to customize because they rolled out the newer versions, which are every six months. There had to be some significant testing and verification that happened. It is important to have a strong third-party provider that is very experienced. We used Deloitte, but we evaluated Accenture, KPMG, and IBM, but we decided on Deloitte and that was a good decision for us. Having a partner who has a center of excellence or experts that could give you a lot of the tips that they've learned could jumpstart your deployment and stick to the standards.""The price of Salesforce Einstein Analytics is quite a bit expensive for the region of Mexico. I think the price of the product could be better."

"The visualization should be better in SAS Visual Analytics. It is easy to use but when compared to other solutions it is lacking and the support is not very good.""A bit more flexibility in the temperatization will be helpful.""The deployment isn't smooth. Deploying Visual Analytics on the cloud takes a lot of work, or you can use some providers that give you SAS as a service. For example, there is a provider called SaasNow. They host SAS Visual Analytics and the license. You can buy the license and deploy it there without the hassle of installation because deploying the software isn't easy.""The solution is a little weak at the front end.""SAS Visual Analytics could be more user-friendly.""There is room for improvement in anti-money laundering prevention and operation monitoring, as well as operation monitoring surveillance.""There are scalability issues. It depends on the data volume and number of end-users. VA requires a lot of hardware resources to move volumes of data.""The installation process can be a bit complex."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Salesforce has a subscription-based licensing structure, where it's between $20 to $75 per month, per user."
  • "The biggest challenge we had was the cost and the licensing. We ended up getting an enterprise licensing agreement(ELA). That took a lot of negotiations and a lot of pressure. We were able to receive a good price for the community licensing they bundled Salesforce Einstein Analytics. They bundled a lot of capabilities with us with the ELA."
  • "Although it was deemed slightly expensive and failed the cost analysis we conducted in our company, we proceeded with the purchase because we desired to have a leading CRM system in the industry."
  • "Price-wise, Salesforce Einstein Analytics is an expensive tool."
  • "I rate the solution's pricing a seven out of ten."
  • "The solution is expensive."
  • "Salesforce Einstein Analytics can be considered somewhat expensive, depending on the company's needs. If they want the complete package with all the features, it's pricier. It all comes down to what the company requires from the platform."

  • "Licensing is simple."
  • "$10,000 per annum for an enterprise license."
  • "The cost of the solution can be expensive. There is an additional cost for users."

  • "SAS Visual Analytics is expensive, as is the rest of the platform."
  • "It's approximately $114,000 US dollars per year."

    Reviews from Real Users

Below are some reviews and helpful feedback written by PeerSpot users currently using the SAS Visual Analytics solution.

A Senior Manager at a consultancy says, “The solution is very stable. The scalability is good. The usability is quite good. It's quite easy to learn and to progress with SAS from an end-user perspective.

PeerSpot user Robert H., Co-owner at Hecht und Heck GmbH, comments, “What I really love about the software is that I have never struggled in implementing it for complex business requirements. It is good for highly sophisticated and specialized statistics in the areas that some people tend to call artificial intelligence. It is used for everything that involves visual presentation and analysis of highly sophisticated statistics for forecasting and other purposes.

Andrea D., Chief Technical Officer at Value Partners, explains, “The best feature is that SAS is not a single BI tool. Rather, it is part of an ecosystem of tools, such as tools that help a user to develop artificial intelligence, algorithms, and so on. SAS is an ecosystem. It's an ecosystem of products. We've found the product to be stable and reliable. The scalability is good.”
