We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"It offers users a rather simple interface.""So there are a lot of features included with the ERP system.""The ability to link documents to accounts, partners and events via the Golden/Yellow Arrow feature is very useful.""All parts for inventory control, project budget, accounting, and business information are valuable. It is very friendly to obtain information. It is also very easy to make the changes that we need. We have a developer with us, and he can make the required changes or rules.""Technical support is quite good. They are helpful and responsive. We are quite satisfied with their level of support.""The document search feature is very good.""The most valuable feature of this solution is Financial Management.""For us, the most useful feature of Business One is Material Requirements Planning (MRP)."

"The most valuable features are that it's very customizable and it's flexible.""The stability and performance are good.""The best thing that SAP ERP has is the extensive coverage of processes for every field and business unit such as procurement, inventory, financials, asset management, plant maintenance, and production. We can cover up to 99.9% processes of our organization, which is the best thing about this solution. It also has a very good capability to integrate with other applications. The security and authorization level of SAP ERP is very high. No other solution can match this level.""The transactional integration of operations is the best-recommended feature of this product. It provides integration of all operational modules.""The architecture of the solution overall is great. It's great for development, testing, and production. I've worked with solutions where the architecture wasn't as strong and it was a disaster.""The solution has a lot of good integrated modules.""Their tech support is always good.""Its integration is most valuable."

Cons
"It is limiting in terms of the in-between communication for manufacturing. We are suffering from a lot of issues in production. We are now considering S/4HANA, and we are also looking for some customized tools to integrate with SAP Business One.""Lacks an advanced HR model with payroll.""There are possibilities to extend its functionality. Things such as Quality Management System (QMS) and Payroll are currently not a part of the product. These things are needed.""Our company is expanding to different countries, and business is growing. We feel that it is not good enough for the huge volume of the business. On-premises setup is not good enough for the overseas office. We have our onsite premises in Hong Kong, but we have a major sales office in the US. We are looking for a more efficient setup to fulfill our requirements and needs. It can have portals for vendors, suppliers, and customers. I know that they have this feature in version 10, but it still has space to improve.""I am not sure if it has an HR and Payroll functionality, but it would be helpful and make it a more complete ERP if they could put the HR and Payroll functionality in it.""SAP could improve the performance of the business alignment with other products.""There is no dependency, the integration between the other applications.""Business One doesn't have a proper master data management function."

"SAP ERP needs to be more innovative when it comes to areas like mobility and the internet.""The product does not update budgeting based on exchange rates which is important for BPM.""When evaluating the current version I am using now, the SAP GUI is old-style and needs to be replaced with something more modern and easy to use. However, the SAP GUI is very optimized for connection networks and is extremely good. Many people would like to have a WebGUI or something else to have access in a different way. Additionally, there could be some drag and drop functionality added because these features are normally in any website that this solution does not have.""In general, a user should attend training before they can use this platform. There's definitely a learning curve. As a new user or employee, there may be some difficulty with onboarding.""Their support should be improved. Instead of giving a general solution, their consultants should first try to understand the problem and then resolve the same. They should properly investigate the issue before providing the solution.""SAP ERP is scalable. We have some five to ten thousand SAP ERP users.""ERP could use better integration with other systems.""It is a little difficult to use."

Pricing and Cost Advice
"We are on a perpetual license for SAP Business One and the price it should be less expensive when comparing it to other solutions.""In terms of price, it's fair, but the problem is with AMC.""Its price is reasonable. We have about 200 licenses. We have to pay every year for the license.""Its price is reasonable. People are able to spend that much.""We pay annually. It is around 800 a month.""Business One is reasonable considering the functionality.""We feel that the licensing fees are a bit on the higher side.""We compared the Microsoft solution with Oracle NetSuite, as they have a price decrease. It is, however, not that much cheaper, and the price is comparable to SAP."

"The licensing costs are slightly on the higher side. They need to make it more competitive.""We pay annually for the use of this solution.""There are licensing costs.""Some components are available at an additional cost, depending on the type of contract that you have.""SAP is a bit on the costly side, but they also provide support and other things. We are paying for licenses and the use of the cloud.""SAP ERP is expensive.""This is a costly product.""When you have a solution that is stable, reliable, and has a high performance as this solution, the price is going to be expensive. However, when you evaluate the service you are paying for the cost is quite reasonable for this solution."
