Comparison Results: Splunk ITSI is highly preferred over SolarWinds Server and Application Monitor for its ease of integration with DLP, automated dashboarding and reporting, and observability. SolarWinds does have useful features like in-depth monitoring and infrastructure dependency mapping, but lacks code-level monitoring and software-defined network monitoring capabilities. Splunk ITSI is slightly pricier, but has a positive ROI for organizations by reducing costs for data reports.
