We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
The forensics within the solution are quite good. The ransomware mitigation is also impressive. The most valuable features are the range and restriction. After that, the client switched to Sophos to get the protection they lacked. It either works or it doesn’t and Sophos works. All of the features are very important for anyone who is supporting a large number of computers. It is a practically maintenance free intelligent system that independently protects environments from malicious attacks.A valuable feature offered by Sophos is called Naked Security, and it entails the control managed by the firewall on the site regarding the desktop client interfacing with our cloud client. The most valuable feature is the supervisory side of it where we can watch the throughputs, and even the loading of the device, to see how much traffic is happening. We most value the price and interface quality with Sophos Intercept X. We focus on solution quality.

The sandboxing is more proactive and more reliable than any of the other endpoint protection solutions.Your workstation doesn't slow down, unlike when you use Symantec, for example. The solution gives users peace of mind that, form an endpoint perspective, they are protected once it is installed. The solution integrates well with other Trend Micro products. What I like the most is the customer pricing because it's a great value. The most valuable features are the behavior monitoring, behavior analysis, and web reputation service. The most valuable aspect of the solution is that it also protects our smartphones. It's one of the reasons we use Trend Micro specifically. We haven't had any compatibility issues. It's quite stable and it's a good tool in preventing actual viruses or malware.

Cons
To be a perfect product, the price would have to be a bit better. They might want to offer an MSP model for licensing, to offer the solution as a software as a service. The price of this solution can be improved. The product defends very well on its own but could possibly use enhancement in giving users more controls. The initial setup was not very user-friendly.In terms of the site-to-site VPN elements, they tend to concentrate. It's quite simple when there are Meraki devices at both ends of the VPN but if there is another user at one end, on another device, it can be a bit tricky. So they could really simplify that process a bit.Sophos needs to create a YouTube channel with educational material for technicians or engineers. They should work on the logs and events. Sophos Intercept X needs to increase the interface test so that it can export to a live event.

This product is not very simple and in fact, kind of hard for some people to understand.I've not explored all of the features up to now. I still need to see all of the features implemented first to be able to see if anything is missing. However, as of right now, it's working very well for us.The solution needs to improve the deployment so it aligns with the latest Microsoft patches and upgrades. It makes the deployment process lengthy and painful. The threat response could be a bit better. In the next release, I would like to see a combination of the different features from Apex One and OfficeScan in Trend Micro Smart, rather than as upgraded features. The only drawback to this solution is that it needs different products for different types of clients, and it would be better to have a single agent for all of the products. We were considering switching to SentinalOne because it has pre-detection, and Trend Micro does not offer this; it's something the solution should add.The solution should improve its mobile management solution.

Pricing and Cost Advice
The price is pretty good.We renew the license for one year at $10,000.

Our organization has paid licensing for three years, which averaged about $4.00 USD per user. We've been satisfied with the licensing. It's quite reasonable. The licensing is on a yearly basis and I believe our organization paid about $2,000/year. However, it's been a while since I looked at the pricing and we no longer use the solution. This solution provides good value for the price. We pay for the solution on a yearly basis. We pay approximately 100 Euros a year per user. There are no additional fees above this.
