We performed a comparison between Statseeker and Zenoss Cloud based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about Zabbix, Datadog, Auvik and others in Network Monitoring Software."We can manage the entire system across the network and troubleshoot the pain points."
"Summary Reports provide a quick way to identify where potential issues are. Drill-downs provide more granular details very quickly."
"The monitoring provided by this solution helps us to track down and solve issues."
"The most important for us is how fast this solution is, as well as the granularity that you can get to, such as per-minute statistics."
"The most important feature for us is the interface statistics, because our customer normally asks us for bandwidth utilization reports. Statseeker has very descriptive transmit and receive information."
"Grouping, Threshold/alerts, Netflow analyser, Private MIB object support are most valuable as they can provide more visibility into network performance, and for network troubleshooting."
"We are a smaller enterprise, but we're watching approximately fifteen-thousand switchboards with no problem at all."
"The most valuable features are scalability and reliability."
"It also allows us to predict the capacity on WAN circuits, as well as other circuits, to help us plan for upgrading."
"They have also accommodated many state-of-the-art technologies like Docker and ZooKeeper."
"The most valuable feature is the flexible discovery mechanism."
"It's easy to use."
"The product offers good documentation that helps with initial training."
"What I like most about Zenoss Service Dynamics is that it monitors the devices and gives close to real-time alerts. For example, in case the device is not available, Zenoss Service Dynamics generates an alert so my team can resolve the issue."
"Its Docker Container concept is mind blowing. It is the first monitoring tool which comes with Docker features."
"The custom built integration is one of the most valuable features because you can see all the especially critical items."
"The Wi-Fi side needs improvement."
"I would like to see a friendlier user interface in the administration tool."
"With Statseeker I'd like to see some flow, i.e. what's tuning-up the network. The trend I like is managing the traffic load by going to the cloud."
"It would be nice if they had twenty-four-hour technical support because we contact Australia and we have to wait for them to open."
"The user interface needs a great deal of improvement."
"I would like to see more comprehensive reporting and alerting."
"There is a little bit of room to improve in the alerting section to give some more options there. It's all I can think of right now off the top of my head."
"If it had more detailed NetFlow information then it would be far better."
"We haven't seen an ROI."
"It would be ideal if the product offered sound alerts."
"There was a problem with Zenoss and storage monitoring."
"Now it is stable, but they should design threshold parameters in percentage instead of raw values."
"The AI aspect needs to improve."
"As Zenoss Service Dynamics is more for network-centric devices and you want to monitor, for example, a server, its services, IP addresses, and interfaces, if it's a network and you're going to monitor multiple items, you'll be charged multiple times. This is what Zenoss Service Dynamics needs to improve to make sure that customers pay just one fee to monitor the entire server. What I'd like to see in Zenoss Service Dynamics in the future is a public cloud monitoring feature, particularly for the Azure public cloud. Another additional feature I'd like to see in the next release of the solution is integration with the Azure public cloud because I know that there are some services from Azure that Zenoss Service Dynamics is currently unable to monitor."
"The inclusion of a feature to show a graphical view of the network would be a helpful improvement."
"There is room for improvement with the administrative part. They introduced Control Center to manage things in Zenoss 5. The services that Zenoss provides remained the same, but the administrative part, since they introduced Docker, etc., has become a little complex"
