We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The interface and dashboard are okay.""We use Trend Micro mainly to monitor user activities, such as tracking the websites they visit and purchase items. Additionally, we focus on identifying and addressing antivirus threats. We used to explore a feature related to proxy but decided against it as an enterprise solution wasn't readily available for us. Our primary use of Trend Micro revolves around end-user security. Integration with Active Directory has proven beneficial, allowing us to easily push updates or changes directly from the console.""The basic setup, like configuring servers or deploying the SaaS platform and agent implementation, is straightforward.""We find the malware scanning and intrusion detection most valuable for our server management requirements. We can find out who is on our servers and what they have done.""None of the Trend Micro Integrated Data Loss Prevention features worked well, but the solution had a straightforward setup.""There are no issues with the interface.""It is a scalable product.""Trend Micro Integrated Data Loss Prevention is a reliable product."

"I find that their tech support is excellent. And as a reseller, my relationship with my point of contact is also strong. WatchGuard does a good job of maintaining that.""It is something that we need for compliance, and it has been useful. Their support staff is also amazing.""One of the most valuable features is that when we send emails and it gives a warning, you can configure those email addresses so that they can only send outside the email."

Cons
"Trend Micro could be priced better, currently, it's a bit high. And there needs to be better after the sale, technical support.""Having more features apart from what the product was designed for is what I'd like to see in its next release.""They could improve the product's data loss policies.""The platform's support structure for government-specific domain requirements could be improved.""Being able to specify an agent list, or client list, to allow support from outside of the organization, would be of benefit to this solution.""Needs a remote login option.""It's hard for me to answer any questions about missing features. It's the outside companies who support us that manage this DLP solution at this moment.""Within the solution, many of the functions do not perform as intended...It is not a stable solution...It is not a scalable solution."

"There is a problem with the RAM - it's eating up resources. The RAM utilization sometimes reaches up to 80% - 95%, and what we do is just restart the firewall.""WatchGuard Data Loss Prevention catches so little. When I've implemented it, it just can't look at the traffic in a thorough enough manner to capture as much as it should. And I find that I'm disenchanted with all data loss protection solutions I've tested and looked at.""They need to stop the VLAN limitation. They have a VLAN limitation on the size of their boxes. It is the worst thing ever. They basically sell their boxes by the size and the number of VLANs it can handle, which is a real issue. You spend a couple of thousand dollars for a firewall, and you can only do 30 VLANs, which is extremely silly, as a matter of fact. It would be really great to have something for easier mass rule changes. It also needs a drag-and-drop function so that you don't have to constantly duplicate firewall rules. It would be nice to have such a feature because you got one WatchGuard, and you want to mirror its config and change a couple of things in another one and move some things around. It is not as easy as you would necessarily think. It is kind of expensive, and its pricing can be a little better for sure."

    Overview

Now more than ever, your data is on the move—whether it’s on a laptop, flash drive, or moving across physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructures. At any point along the way, your financial data, customer information, intellectual property, or trade secrets could be lost or stolen. Securing this data is further complicated by several growing risk factors:

Rapidly evolving compliance regulations and mandates, including GDPR
    Continued growth of workforce mobility
Employees using their own mobile devices and consumer apps for work
Rising frequency of advanced persistent threats (APTs) and data breach incidents

To avoid the embarrassment, reputation damage, regulatory fines, and revenue loss, today’s enterprise must be able to identify, track, and secure all confidential data from multiple points within the organisation and in the cloud without impacting employee productivity and performance. In the past, many organisations tried traditional data loss prevention (DLP) solutions but found they were too intrusive, too complex to manage, and too costly to acquire, deploy, and maintain.

Data breaches pose a serious threat to organizations of all sizes, as the number of incidents and associated costs are on the rise. Whether a data leak was intentional or not, it can also cause permanent reputation damage to your organization. WatchGuard Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is a comprehensive service that helps keep your confidential data private. It prevents data breaches and enforces compliance by scanning text and files to detect sensitive information attempting to exit your network.
