"Its backup capabilities in general are great."

"Before Veeam, we had backup infrastructure sprawl. Veeam was able to reduce our overall backup windows while reducing our dedicated backup infrastructure."

"The integration needs improvement."
"Technical support could be improved."
"The price of Veeam Agent for Linux could be reduced."
"There is a compatibility issue with HCI."
"It would be much better if more applications were supported on the Linux side. For example, their agent for Windows not only can back up the Windows machine, but it can also back up Active Directory for granular restore, SQL servers, Exchange, Oracle, SharePoint, etc. When it comes to Linux, only Oracle databases are supported. There are workarounds, though."
"Scalability, if you are talking about Linux, is good. However, if you need to backup more types of solutions or Unix systems, like HP/UX, AIX, etc., it's not compatible."
"CDP also requires a lot of development, because there are a lot of restrictions now for CDP. There is a chance to improve CDP and make it much easier for the customers."
"I would want them to improve some technical features that are still missing because we are working with NetApp NVMe and they're not fully supporting it yet. But both NetApp and Veeam know about it and they're working on it."
"Lacks online training."
"think backing up from physical servers and ransomware security needs some improvements."
"I would like to see the licensing model improved. They have recently changed the model and have made it more complicated."
"A backup and replication solution should be able to back up a system and do recovery very fast. Even though Veeam Backup & Replication is able to meet most of our needs, it would be better if they can make it faster for backup and restore."
"In the next release I would like to see a bit more intelligence as far as a solution or troubleshooting - to put it more on the level of resolution and not simply identifying there is a problem."
"The more features the solution has the more complex it can be to set up. Veeam Backup & Replication can be complex."
