Before implementing Cornerstone HR Suite, our offices in each country where we operate used to have their own software or were using Excel, which is a common practice. Then, we decided to standardize and use one product throughout the entire organization in all the countries. We chose it based on the recommendations of some researchers who claimed that Cornerstone seemed to be a promising product. As someone who is knowledgeable in HCM, I believe that rather than having sophisticated products for each stage of an employee's life cycle, starting from the use of ATS to termination or separation, it would be better to have one comprehensive solution. However, later on, I realized that most of the HCM solutions have some problems. The market trend is that companies start with one specific module and then expand into other areas based on client needs. For example, Cornerstone started with learning and added other modules such as performance, career, core HR, and reporting. However, they have not been able to master all areas. If I had to buy a solution for another company, I would prefer a product-by-product approach rather than an HCM solution.

We previously used another solution before Cornerstone. We switched because Cornerstone is a more mobile and configurable solution than traditional ERP systems. Also because it's flexible to adapt to different use cases and business environments.
