The interface offers a good user experience. There are new releases every three months that keep up with industry standards and meet the needs of the customer.
From an API perspective, this is a very robust platform that offers integration with many other platforms including Linkedin and Salesforce.

The most valuable features are automation, analytics, and strong reporting.
The email digest that informs people about upcoming training is very helpful. If somebody has five training sessions scheduled then they receive a single email notification, rather than five separate ones.
There are reporting dashboards for managers that allow them to clearly and easily see where their team stands with training.
They have a Client Community Success Center, where clients can share ideas and interact with each other. People receive help for problems they are facing after asking for help or opinions or ideas on what to do.

The most valuable feature of Cornerstone Learning is the reporting and learner transcripts.
View full review »It is a one-stop-shop solution, where you can actually log in using your Windows username and password, and the single sign-on can be configured with this LMS.
Since the system uses the same credentials, you can be automatically logged in to your Cornerstone platform, where you can see the training sessions that are assigned to you.
As a technical lead, I can see the report of each team member's performance.
From recruiting to termination, everything can be handled with this system. The user information from the company's database can be automatically fed into this system using APIs, and all of the information is in real-time. Thus, if an employee is terminated it will automatically close the account in the Cornerstone platform. Similarly, if someone is hired, they will automatically get access within one day because everything is linked. As everything is automated, the manual admin tasks are fewer.
Another valuable feature is the ability to purchase courses. For example, there are training sessions that have courses associated with it. There is a shopping cart that you can use to individually purchase courses by using your credit/debit card or coupons. The Cornerstone system will send the cost to the ERP system within the company, that is, the outbound database. This means that you can assign courses to this platform and even carry out the transactions within this system.
This platform follows GDPR rules, which means that this system has its dedicated legal entity fields that can be anonymized based on requirements. For example, in Germany you cannot store data for more than five years. In this case, we can configure the system in such a way that all of the German employees' data after resignation are removed from the platform within five years.
From a functional perspective, it is perfect because it has a strong structure and design.

The Meeting feature is similar to a conference call facility that can be used for virtual meetings.
Distance learning, online assessment, and career planning features are very useful.

They invest a lot in learning. Every three months, there is a release, and any bugs that we have found are solved every three months. They have a good support team.

I'm always impressed with how client-centric CSOD is. They truly value client feedback and are eager to make product improvements based on client interactions within the Client Success Center.
View full review »- Reporting!
- The user interface can be highly customized but the out of box, is really straightforward and easy for the learner to navigate to what they need to do. Its simple and clean. Admittedly I'm okay with an extra click for a user if the path is clearly marked and in CSOD it is.
- The analytics are very easy to use - it produces the data quickly and easily, and can be downloaded and scheduled. Whether it is a report on who has completed a course, or an entire manager's direct and indirect hierarchy against a single class or a list of courses. Super easy and flexible.
Features such as the auto waitlist, prescriptive rules and team approvals are the most valuable in this product.
View full review »The feature most valuable to me is the ability to track training through the analytics feature. Other features that benefit me in my role are the proxy enrollment function and the materials function. The analytics feature could be better: I have had instances of incorrect reporting in the past. Proxy enrollment allows me to assign training to an entire department. The materials function is useful to me because there are multiple ways that I can add content to a learning object.
