The solution is very easy to set up. In one hour, you have everything set up and ready to run.

Darktrace is simple to install and the full process took approximately three weeks.

The initial setup of Darktrace is straightforward. We are using Slunk and the implementation is simple.

From a networking perspective, it is a bit complex since we sort of have to keep an end tab on the network for network log ingestion, flow ingestion, and all of that.

You may, for example, need to release an email that was blocked for some reason, but it's quite low maintenance overall.

You do not need an engineer to manage it. It can be managed by a manager as doing so is not super technical. You always have access to Darktrace support, which means their engineers are available help you with the more complex stuff.

We got it up in half an hour, but it still has to learn. You still have to give it some time to learn about the environment, and that's usually going to be at least two weeks.

The biggest deployment that we have done took about two months, but it was in 26 different sites. The main challenge was the transport. We had to take care of all the logistics to transport all the appliances and find the appropriate time to run all the appliances because most of the customers do not allow to rack them at any time. Therefore, it needs to be done at midnight when almost nobody is using the network. That was our main challenge, but it is very easy to set up.
