Scales very well and is pretty easy to set up but is a bit expensive

What is our primary use case?

We use the solution primarily to provide services for the employees in our institute. Basically, it's the domain active directory. We also use it for its own server and providing the internet and our email server. We shifted recently to the Microsoft Product F365. We got the enterprise license for that as well. We don't use it to provide cloud services. We actually provide local services.

Pros and Cons

  • "What we like the most is the ability to upgrade the scaling of the system itself. Whenever we need extra storage, we can do that. Whenever we need extra memory, we can do that as well. It's fast and it's available."
  • "The pricing of the product could always be lowered."

What other advice do I have?

We're just a customer. We don't have a business relationship with IBM. In general, I would rate the solution at a seven out of ten so far. While every organization has to choose its options based on their requirements, I can say that this particular solution has met our needs quite well.

Stable with an easy initial setup and good scalability

What is our primary use case?

The main use for the last order was for the applications and other items around an electronic fencing system.

Pros and Cons

  • "The pricing of the product is fair and not too expensive."
  • "The technical support is pretty good, however, they could be a bit faster and more responsive."

What other advice do I have?

We're just customers. We don't have a business relationship with HP. We're using the latest version of the solution. We purchased Gen 10 about a year or so ago. I'd recommend the solution to other organizations. Overall, I would rate the product at a nine out of ten.

User-friendly, reasonably priced for enterprise, and offers great stability

What is our primary use case?

The solution is primarily used for storage. When I came into the company, I found it already in use. The company contacted the provider to renew its infrastructure. The providers offered this solution, and the company approved it. When I arrived, they were already using that.

Pros and Cons

  • "The product doesn't take up too much space on the rack and I like that."
  • "Technical support could be more responsive."

What other advice do I have?

We're just customers and end-users. We don't have a business relationship with Cisco. I'd recommend the solution. We've been quite happy with its capabilities so far. I'd rate the solution, on a scale from one to ten, at a nine. It's been pretty seamless in terms of usage. I have no real complaints.

A perfect solution with good stability, good local support, and best performance

What is our primary use case?

Our clients use it for server virtualization.

Pros and Cons

  • "Its performance and the local support of Lenovo in my city are the most valuable features. Its performance is the best, and its user interface is also very easy."
  • "Its price could be better. Its price is sometimes an issue for our clients. XClarity Controller is a very good feature, and Lenovo should include the XClarity Controller license without any additional cost. It should be integrated within the product."

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend this solution. I would rate Lenovo ThinkSystem Rack Servers a ten out of ten.
