The performance benefits weren't surprising, we expected that. What we didn't expect were the densification benefits that we got out of going all-flash. We're able to put more applications on the arrays because of how all-flash performs. The way some of the application profiles have responded to all-flash has been really pleasing.

We see very low latency with very high IOPS for mixed workloads. Therefore, we are getting great performance. Our customers have been very satisfied because they use a wide range of applications.

Usually, we have pretty low latency. Our storage is less than 10ms, which is pretty good. No dramas there. That's pretty good performance.

With mixed workloads, we are seeing at least a 15 to 20 percent improvement..with the thin nodes in this solution, we are leveraging almost a one-to-two ratio.

In terms of performance with mixed workloads, generally the Compellent has been very good. If it's over the 20ms mark that's not good, but I have never seen any problems with that, in particular, when we've added flash.

I just deployed a 3000 Series in a small VDI environment, and during a bunch of huge data copies, I was seeing 15,000 IOPS at less than about 7 or 8 milliseconds of latency and that was on 10K disk. I was really impressed with that.

With the SC Series SAN, the performance that we've gotten out of the boxes alleviated anyone's concerns. We do not get complaints about the performance of our virtual infrastructure... In our mixed workloads, we generally see sub-10ms latency on the product... The performance has been great. We have been very happy with it.

In terms of performance with mixed workloads, the SC Series is pretty good. We don't see a lot of latency as we saw with NetApp.
