Installations will be done by our team.

Vendor did initial install. I reinitialized it and did the final install.

We handled the deployment ourselves with the help of Dell. We did a standard deployment. 

The company purchased a support contract, so we worked with Dell EMC to deploy the system.

The deployment process went really easy with two specialists from our IT department. It is important to note that the efficiency and effectiveness also depend on the expertise of the people operating the solution. 

We handled the deployment in-house with instructions or by looking at YouTube for direction. 

We use Dell representatives for the implementation of the solution. We ended up doing the configurations ourselves without needing the support. 80 percent of the deployment we did ourselves. We had two people involved in the deployment and the solution has not required any maintenance so far.

We deployed not only the one Dell Unity XT but a bunch of them. It took us approximately one week for everything to be finished. Additionally, we deployed some hosts, switches, and other systems.

The initial setup was handled by an integrator, and the rest of the migration was completed by myself.

I needed one of the specialists to set it up initially, which is not surprising because the solutions are a pain in that way. Some of the menus, and how it is at first, are a little awkward. It takes a little while to get used to, then it all starts to make sense.

We used CDW. Our experience with them was outstanding. They're great. I have no issues at all. CDW just did an outstanding job.

We had support to do the implementation, we did not do it ourselves. We had a couple of engineers from Dell do the implementation and we managed the solution using our onsite team.

We used VCE for the deployment, and they were great.

We did the deployment of Dell Unity XT in-house. We have three engineers that do the maintenance and support of the solution.

I deployed it myself. I have been working with storage products for more than 20 years.

It is myself and two others that are responsible for the maintenance. All of us are backup and storage engineers. I am the primary and the other two are my backups. We all take different approaches and handle different things.

For purchases, we have always dealt with Dell through a third party because until recently, Dell did not do direct sales. The company we used was Techni-Core and they're okay. We've had some issues with them including some improperly configured Isilons and other systems that were not done correctly. Back when I first joined, I had to go in and spend four months debugging a system that was set up wrong.

I think that they had a couple of people that were poor at doing installs but I'm pretty sure they are now gone because I don't see their names anywhere.

We are enterprise-level and buy directly from Dell EMC.

We used one of our premier partners to implement it. 

One person can handle the configuration and deployment, but a helper is needed for rack mounting and cabling.

We contact our VAR, get a quote, and order all the hardware. Then, they ship and install it with a Dell EMC engineer. It is very straightforward.

We used an integrator for the deployment. They had great knowledge of the product. We also did some additional integration with them in other parts of the storage, including backup and data domain devices, because we were very fond of the work they did.

We sometimes use third-party help because we are facing many hardware issues.

We used a reseller and our experience was fine. It was not the first time we had actually worked with that reseller. We ended up having to engage with the Dell EMC people to get everything set up right. It wasn't the smoothest of introductions.

Deployment was pretty easy. We had a guy come in who did all the work.

Dell EMC did setup number one. Then, they shadowed me when I did the next setup. It's not simple, but it's doable. It's doable with the right guidance.

Deployment with the product is great.

The vendor implemented it and is knowledgeable.

As a partner, we provide the implementation service for our customers.

The customer we have has approximately 10 administrators support.

We used Dell EMC for the setup. We had a Dell EMC engineer and a third-party engineer come in. The Dell EMC engineer came and set up what he had for the disk. He took away the complexity from us, so I didn't see it. We had a third-party help us as well during the installation. 

My part was mainly just administering the system. If I had an issue, I just made a short phone call to Dell EMC.

Dell EMC did the entirety of the setup.

We have three people who maintenance and support the solution.

We used a Dell EMC consultant for the deployment. The experience was good.

We used a reseller and had a consultant. The consultant had worked for Dell EMC and went to work for a consulting company. He is now back to work at Dell EMC. He actually recommended the product based on his knowledge of our program. He flushed the whole system out, as far as the build. Regarding the flexibility of the product, we have other programs within our larger branch which are starting to take on and use the Unities for storage.

I am certified to do the implementation of the solution.

We always buy it with implementation services. However, we did the implementation ourselves.

The first three systems were set up by a reseller, the Unity XT by myself. It's rather straightforward if you have FC/Block or Eth/NFS Storage array experience.

I did the implementation of this solution. The solution works well and does not need any maintenance or assistance unless it is broken.

We used Data Blue (previously LPS), as our integrator, to do the installation for our deployment. They worked with our onsite Dell EMC representatives.

We provide implementation service to our customers.

The maintenance is done by the Dell representative in our country.

We have an in-house team for deployment. We have five engineers that work with it in our organization. As a system integrator, we install and configure this product for our clients.

Dell EMC came in and did the implementation. They were knowledgeable.
