We started with Actuate, moved to Crystal Reports, acquired a company that was using Brio. We've had the opportunity to try all three of the market leaders and to be bluntly honest, they’re all unsuitable. They are very burdensome in terms of designing and building new templates and none of them are using a format that we can easily hand off to our clients to say "Hey, if you need to tweak the legal boiler plate language, update a version tag, do it." With Docmosis we're using Word based templates. It's child's play to have a client update that Word based template. As long as they're not messing with the data tags, they can change the boiler plate and the formatting all they like and they do. View full review »
