OpenText Documentum Other Solutions Considered
We look for second-tier options if the customer is really stretched for budget. It is a suboptimal arrangement. We often encourage customers to stretch their budgets and choose Documentum as a long-term investment. The tool provides value for money.

View full review »We evaluate other options as our regular business plan. We do not always assume we are upgrading what we have. As a business process, we always look at what we have versus what is available in the market. The main differences between Documentum and others are the compatibility with other systems and tailored solutions for our industry. Sometimes, it is language compatibility and things of that nature for actual human language, not computer language.
