Infor LN have customer support in India but service could be improved. For example, suppose you're at an airport and want to check the service by retrieving your luggage from LN. If you make an ACLDI agreement considering the time it takes for the first bag, you can expect the employee to take the first bag quickly, but Infor will be very slow with the rest. So, some customers might get their ERP first, but others have to wait until the entire year is up. 

So, basically, they prioritize agreements, and the number of tickets closed within a certain timeframe, not necessarily the quality or resolution of the tickets themselves. They just open and close them, sometimes without even understanding the issue. That's the biggest problem.

If Infor put more focus on quality instead of just processing time, it would definitely improve things. Not just the time it takes to solve a ticket, but the quality of the resolution itself.

The technical support team are good, although they are often understaffed. However, they are not always able to advise on issues with the most up-to-date version of the solution.

 There is also a technical guide provided, to allow users to potentially fix issues themselves.

Yu receive a quick response from support for standard issues. If it's related to customizations, you might need to handle it internally or engage with the consultancy team. When it comes to specific customizations, there might be a challenge in determining responsibility and whether Infor will support it. However, the support quite good regarding standard issues.

I would rate technical support at eight out of ten. Particularly in India, the support is excellent. There's a dedicated support team based in Hyderabad that promptly responds to any issues. Their assistance extends not only to customers but also to partners.

We deal with them a lot and often call them on a weekly basis. They aren't helpful. We're very disappointed.

Infor is not very much into the market as of yet, which means that its products are not yet public and this precludes students learning about the Infor products on their own. This translates into a shortage of resources and information which is available on the internet about Infor products and contrasts with the SAP, which does have training schools and manuals that are open to the public.

For the moment, we resolve issues exclusively within our organization. However, should an issue arise we make reference to a consulting organization, something we have found to be helpful.

Infor LN manufacturing consultant at a tech vendor with 51-200 employees

I rate the technical support a three and a half out of five. Infor LN has a support portal, so if our customer encounters a bug or issue, it will log a case in the import portal. Then, based on the duration and SLS, it is assigned, and technical support gives us their recommendation and solution. If they can't solve the issue over email, they set up a Webex call, take control of our system, and debug the problem.

There is limited support on Baan IV, but for Infor ERP LN there are more options. When it comes to vendor support on implementations, I prefer to see Infor as a partner not as a vendor. They should be closer to the customer.
