What is most valuable?

The ClearPass clustering model saved us staff time and reduced errors by eliminating the need to manage individual RADIUS servers. The mulit-vendor capability is also valuable.

How has it helped my organization?

* It eliminated the management of 10 different individual discrete RADIUS servers. * We are able to satisfy many different organizational needs because of its flexibility.

What needs improvement?

The product's graphical user interface (GUI) could use an update and better integration between the guest management and policy management interfaces. I'd also like to make sure there is support for Juniper switches.

It's agentless, and it's scalable.

Previous to the deployment we didn't have complete visibility of all the endpoints, all the devices that are connected to the network. But with the deployment of portnox, we could see all the devices and where they're connecting. We can... more»

For now, they just released the new version which has a completely different design interface, and there are some other improvements that were added onto it. So we need to look at it and understand how these features impact the performance... more»

What do you think of Cisco Identity Services Engine?

Valuable Features It can handle Radius and TACACS+. • Improvements to My Organization Authorisation and Authentication Policy creation is easier. Access right limitation is pretty easy in ISE. Context exchange feature is present. • Room for Improvement It is quite complex when it comes to troubleshooting. • Use of Solution 2 years • Deployment Issues Upgrade was quite a pain. It doesn't exactly go according to the document. • Stability Issues On TACACS side, we see some issues. The rest is all going well. • Customer Service and Technical Support Customer Service: It's good.
