We have seen a return on investment. It has helped us out with what we need to do. Our main job here is to make the network more secure by getting after our vulnerabilities and everything else. It has definitely helped us, especially with the quarantining machines and helping out with some of the vulnerabilities. The ability to push PowerShell scripts and batch scripts through Forescout is key because we can target vulnerabilities through scripting. So, it's definitely worth it as a product.

We needed this solution for our organization, it was essential. We have received a return on investment.

In terms of ROI, I've never seen any data.

Time savings in finding rogue devices as well as identifying potentially unwanted devices on the network has saved the organization time and money.

Since the costs continually go up with each new endpoint, we don't really see an ROI. However, we do see value in the product.

The ROI is priceless. How can you put a price on someone's privacy?

Without access specific numbers, we now have the ability to instantly shut down internal malicious hosts or traffic, refuse or restrict access to non-compliant hosts, discover risks on the network we didn't know were there, and automate the remediation of a multitude of security risks. As I work for an organization that spends a lot on security administration, at a minimum, the cost savings must have already paid for the product.

This product demonstrates the possibilities of network access control for the organization. As a pilot project, it changed the minds of people because they could see the potential which included enrolling policies so that all devices can connect to the network. People are more aware now of the security risks when there is no network access control.
