Fortinet FortiDDoS Other Advice

MR
IT Manager-Infrastructure at Southstar Drug

My advice to new users would be to think about the size and possible upgrades. If there are worries about limits or the need to scale, consider going for a cloud-based solution instead of an on-premises one. Cloud options often have more features. So, assess what your company needs and how it might grow to make a smart choice. Overall, I would rate Fortinet FortiDDoS as a five out of ten.

I recommend the solution to those who plan to use it. It is easy to deploy the solution since you can just get access to the admin guide to take care of the deployment by yourself.

I also recommend the solution to others since it offers high performance and scalability. In my opinion, hardly five percent of issues are attached to the solution.

I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten.

Ask for a demo. Use the latest firmware version. Plan properly. Understand the features and settings before deployment.

We're a Fortinet partner.

I would advise those considering implementing the solution to get good documentation before installing it and to understand the product well. They can call support, however, they cannot state good support from Fortinet. I'd recommend they instead ask for help from Regional Account Managers from Fortinet, they can use their cell phone from there.

I'd rate the solution at a seven out of ten.

Most companies don't have a big budget, so a decrease in the license fees will be good. Companies with the lowest price, want the lowest price in the IT sector because their IT sector has a very big budget. I will rate this solution a seven out of ten.
