We had no other NAC solution before FortiNAC but used some other Fortinet solutions and firewall boxes. We prefer to work mostly with Fortinet because we are looking for complete solutions. For example, if one device is Check Point and the other device is running in parallel, it's difficult to make large numbers of them work together perfectly. Having one vendor is good for us because all the other components work together harmoniously. 

I have used Cisco solutions and Fortinet FortiNAC has better performance. Additionally, I have used Huawei, Palo Alto, and Juniper.

I have experience with other solutions as well. In terms of pros, I would say Fortinet has a simpler version, and it's more user-friendly when it comes to creating policies. As for cons, I'm not sure if it supports certain devices that require a more secure connection.

I have used Sophos, CyberArk, and Palo Alto solutions earlier.

I have switched to Forescout because in regards to technology, application, visibility, and control, Forescout is unbelievable. Forescout is a great platform for OT things.

We previously used Cisco ISE and switched to Fortinet FortiNAC because the users found it more user-friendly and it was cheaper.

I have used Cisco ISE and Aruba ClearPass, and Fortinet FortiNAC is a lot easier to set up.

This is the first NAC appliance we ever used on-campus.

We didn't have something prior. We had someone do a security audit on us, and they made some recommendations of things that we were missing. We contacted a managed service provider to recommend things to fix these issues, and this was one of those things. We went with what the managed service provider recommended as a solution along with having a short timeframe.

I am also working with Cisco ISE. It is very complicated compared to FortiNAC.

We didn't previously use a different solution.

This is the first product we have used.

I have worked with other similar solutions including Cisco ISE. I find that many of the SMBs and Enterprise-level customers choose Cisco instead.
