Fortinet FortiAnalyzer Pricing
Fortinet FortiAnalyzer is very expensive. Solutions from companies like Fortinet, F5, and Juniper are very expensive, due in part to the high license fees and technical support they charge.
View full review »I won't say the solution is too costly since it is available at a fair price.
View full review »The company's choice to utilize Fortinet FortiAnalyzer was based on the overall security strategy and compatibility with existing solutions. It was deemed the best fit as it provided a centralized point of visibility for all of their security solution, including Fortinet FortiGate firewall, FortiClient, Forti EMS, and FortiAP. The company conducted a thorough evaluation of various solutions in the market but found that none of them could fully integrate and manage all their solutions as effectively as Fortinet FortiAnalyzer.

We pay approximately $11,000 for a three-year license to use Fortinet FortiAnalyzer. When we compared the price of this solution to others it is not expensive. Palo Alto is a more expensive solution.
I rate the price from Fortinet FortiAnalyzer a four out of five.

The pricing model is subscription-based. It involves payment for both the license and ongoing support. I would rate it seven out of ten.
View full review »The pricing is fine. I cannot speak to the exact cost of the solution. There may be a feature or two that would cost more. However, we do not use any at the moment that adds to the price.
View full review »Base features used to be priced lower but now are a bit higher. We have some requirements and combine more than 100 showrooms to the SDN with the MLPS connection. Compared to other products, the price is a little bit high.
I rate pricing an eight out of ten.
View full review »They have three-year licenses, but I usually recommend starting with a one-year license to try FortiAnalyzer out. After that, you can switch to a three-year license.

Customers contracts are on a monthly basis and include log monitoring services, maintenance, and technical support provided by two technicians.
The solution is not that expensive and I rate it a five out of ten.
View full review »I rate FortiAnalyzer six out of 10 for affordability. FortiAnalyzer pricing isn't steady. It changes each quarter or year. That's one of the main problems in West Abaco because most businesses here are small or medium-sized enterprises. It makes budgeting complicated. You always want to pay the same price on the subscription.
At the same time, I think Fortinet pricing is reasonable compared to all the others. The value you get from Fortinet is better because it beats other vendors in terms of performance, functionality, and efficiency. New firewalls like Alexa are trying to compete in pricing, and people are looking into it to see, but Fortinet is good for now. However, they need to work on keeping the price consistent.
The product’s price is much better than its competitors.
View full review »The solution can be a bit expensive. I cannot speak to the exact costs. There are no hidden fees attached to the service.
View full review »The pricing is reasonable. The cost structure is primarily based on factors such as the number of logs, log sizes, and the daily log storage capacity, with a minimum requirement of two gigabytes per day. The maximum storage capacity can extend up to eight thousand gigabytes of logs per day.

The pricing is reasonable. I'd rate the affordability four out of ten, where ten is the most expensive.

I do not know the price of Fortinet FortiAnalyzer. I did not pay for it, but I know the price of other Fortinet products. They are not cheap. I am from Poland. We have Zloty, not Euro, so for us, everything is expensive.
I had also tried to buy it in the past, but it was too expensive.

I believe that these devices were procured with a five-year maintenance and support license up front. I work at a university, so the vendor provides a considerable higher ed discount.
View full review »When you compare with other firewall vendors, FortiAnalyzer is quite competitive in pricing. They are very aggressive as well.
View full review »The license depends on the storage capacity. If you want to take a log of up to 1 gigabyte daily, it's free, if I remember correctly. But if you want 5 gigabytes daily, it's licensed at different prices. The cost of FortiAnalyzer could be cheaper, especially when you are installing to a VM. For 90 percent of customers, the VM solution is enough.

I can't remember if they have a new license for software maintenance. They have maintenance that is charged annually. Unlike a firewall, they have a UTM license you need to pay annually and then only an annual maintenance cost for the hardware, for FortiAnalyzer.
I'm not sure what the exact price is at the moment. However, my understanding is the pricing could be better.

I don't handle the licensing or the costs. I can't speak to how much it is for our company or if it is expensive or affordable. I'm not privy to that kind of information.
That said, it's my understanding, as a comparison, that Fortinet products are cheaper than their Cisco counterparts.

In terms of fees, one is subscription and one is the hardware warranty. There are two types of subscriptions - one is a security subscription and the other one is the support.
A lot of products are coming with built-in facilities, but FortiAnalyzer is a much better solution. People may like it, but affordability is a problem.
View full review »You get a gateway, but without support, it's not worth much. We've also tried FortiGate virtual machines, but the price is so high that it's better to buy other appliances than to buy the license for the VM.
We also work with third-party solutions. However, this solution is not for everyone, and even though it's free, it's easy to implement when you have money.
Overall, I would rate it an eight out of ten.

I cannot speak of the exact price. Someone else manages the contract. However, you do get good value for your money. It's not overly expensive.
As it is on-premises, you do need some on-prem resources. You need a traditional hypervisor and need the ability to host the solution on your premises.

In the local market sometimes people are being charged more than other solutions. Although the market is competitive, legitimate suppliers do not receive a large enough discount to pass onto the customers.
Fortinet FortiAnalyzer is not suitable for everyone, it is best suited for mid-sized businesses but if the price could be reduced there would be more customers in all-sized businesses.
