Grafana has helped our organization with observability and operational excellence. Operational excellence is a key part of any organization from a data platform perspective and setting the alerts and monitoring policies on Grafana was easy.

The benefits depend on different use cases. For example, I have used Grafana with Alert Manager, which is a notification application to receive alerts in Teams. 

Grafana works with Prometheus, so it's not just Grafana by itself. There are other tools in the ecosystem. I like the ecosystem that Grafana provides because it allows you to have alerting, notification, and monitoring. You can also use it with programs to view logs. 

With Grafana, you can pretty much understand what's going on with your systems.
