We had set up our own monitoring and metrics dashboards and custom dashboards prior to Grafana.

In one company, they asked me to play with Grafana and Prometheus. I've used them both.

I've used Splunk as well. It's not an open-source product. 

We used to use a different solution. It had very specific tools for fixed message monitoring, among other features, that were useful for finance companies. Grafana doesn't have much that tailors to our sector. 

Previously we used New Relic before switching to the solution.

I don't believe that Grafana fulfilled the requirements completely. That's why we moved to Datadog.

We previously used Zabbix and switched to Grafana because of its ease of use.

In terms of standalone visualization tools, I've only used Grafana. I used another monitoring solution, but the visualization was only integrated.

Other solutions can provide what Grafana provides, but you need to pay. Grafana, on the other hand, has an open-source version, and as an open-source solution, it's complete, at least for my company's needs.

Compared to other software, it can take some time to get used to how Grafana works, but you can live with it because you can learn to use it.

I don't know if it's the same, but we were using CloudWatch in AWS.

Honeycomb is also similar to this. With all the metrics and performances, you can build dashboards, but I'm new to it.

We used native dashboards and graphs of another system we use. We use Zabbix for monitoring but we added Grafana to add more visualization flexibility.

I've used other solutions. Grafana graph in representation is more clear for users. They like the view better. Any application has performance issues. We can set up the thresholds on the dashboard to 90% critical and 80% as warnings. We can update those values in the dashboards if we want. It is very colorful with multiple colors to differentiate things. It's just easier to use than anything else.

We previously used Pearl and PHP but they were outdated.

We are working with the Dynatrace team to have POC email infrastructure.

I previously worked for Zabbix. The main difference is in the performance and I prefer Grafana.

Before using Grafana, we previously used different solutions like PRTG and OpenNMS.

No previous solution was used.
