What do you think of KEMP LoadMaster?

Valuable Features Ease of usage and configuration templates to make deployment easy. • Room for Improvement I would say overall improvement of the solution features • Use of Solution We have been proposing it to end customers from last July and have been using the Virtual edition. • Deployment Issues no • Stability Issues no • Scalability Issues no • Customer Service and Technical Support Customer Service: nil Technical Support: good • Previous Solutions Previously we were proposing Citrix NetScaler or F5. We switched due to cost. • Initial Setup Very straightforward. • Other Solutions Considered Yes, Citrix NetScaler and F5. • Other Advice Try the VLM edition to get a feeling for the product.

What do you think of Loadbalancer.org?

Primary Use Case The Loadbalancer.org appliance sits directly behind our firewall, terminates all of our SSL/HTTP traffic and then directs it to the backend servers depending on the requested service. • Improvements to My Organization This has allowed us to use multiple NATD back end web servers with one single public IP Address and different domain names whilst keeping our services up and running. • Valuable Features SSL Termination with Server Name Indicator option to a Layer 7 back end web farm which allows the client IP address to still be passed. • Room for Improvement HTTP API would be really helpful, but they do have a command line api which is used over a SSH connection • Use of Solution One to three years. • Stability Issues We have not, as of yet,...
