The solution is very simple to set up.
I simply set up a SIM card, and I used a browser and use the ITFS to connect to the router. You get a password, and you can change it. However, I'm not concerned about hackers or that stuff. In terms of security, I am not concerned.

Based on my experience, the initial setup is straightforward. There's no challenge with deployment. The length of time required depends on which particular model you are working with because they don't all take the same amount of time.
For example, if you're implementing and configuring the network core, it is not the same scope as configuring a client.

The product's initial setup process takes an hour or two. We visit the site, check the electrical conditions, and then install and validate the equipment. Later, we make a basic configuration. It requires two technical executives on-site and one engineer working remotely for deployment.

The solution is simple to set up. It is not overly complex. The setup itself is quick, and you can deploy it in a couple of minutes. It is very fast.
View full review »If you have a good knowledge of Cisco, it's relatively easy to deploy Huawei because the command structures are similar. If you're dealing with a very large enterprise network, deployment can take a week or two. If it's not too large and the configurations and the setup are straightforward and don't require advanced traffic engineering, implementation can be achieved within a couple of days.
The initial setup was not user-friendly compared to Cisco, as I don’t have enough experience working with Huawei. I found the syntax difficult to understand.

The initial setup is straightforward, the CLI codes are simple. We prepared the low-level design in advance, so deployment just took a few days.

The initial setup is very easy. I rate the ease of setup a ten out of ten. The product can be deployed on-premise and on the cloud. We must verify the deployment procedure with Huawei before we deploy the tool. There's a lot of quality control. The time taken for deployment depends on the scale of the deployment. Usually, it takes some hours to deploy the solution.

The complexity of the initial setup depends on the environment. We look at what the client needs in terms of their primary requirements and what the router will be used for. It may be for an internet connection or using a VPN to connect the head office to multiple branches. We have to set the IP range and the DHCP server. We also have to set up the IP range to be allowed for the subnet, along with what IP range can be used to access the internet, or what IPs should be blocked from services.
For a simple deployment, it may take one or two hours, whereas a more complex deployment may take four to eight hours.
The deployment requires at least one person, but for the VPN connection, it will require at least two for the testing. In terms of managing this solution, it depends on how many routers are on the North side of the network operation center.
