The product is scalable. I rate it an eight out of ten because the number of DREs supported in Unity Box, the version I used, is much higher than the V5000 or V5600 series. I've seen up to 68 in its configuration, while I haven't encountered that limit in ENCs. They're much more scalable.

This solution provides high scalability, allowing companies to easily expand their data storage capacity as their data requirements grow. I deployed it many times for different kinds of clients and businesses, such as the private sector, government requirements, and the army. So the diversity in usage is very significant and if there is a clear operational plan, it is simple to execute it. 

It is a scalable solution and can accommodate additional storage devices, disks, and shelves with ease. It doesn't take more than ten minutes to scale it. I would rate the scalability ten out of ten.

Scalability is fine you can add to cluster other superior version or older version, and the orices is the same as the identical model and version. The OceanStor support the fail until 7 of 8 controllers without lost data and wiht the minimal impact to the performance, so the performance has been very good.

OceanStor is supposed to be scalable, but we have not really tried it. For scalability, the company chose to move to another solution. They have a couple of systems for storage, with more than 200 hosts.
