We are professional services providers. Basically, we review some applications on the Informix DB, and then the application, and we will roll out to production. We have another team to support the second level of support. The first level of support would come from the help desk.

I did the deployment myself.

In order to properly implement IBM Informix, it is necessary to hire people that are skilled with the product.

To implement in-house, I highly recommend a good training on the product with IBM or another company based in the US. Generally companies who know Informix are passionate about that product with deep knowledge and experience on it.

We take help from a consultant for implementation.

Two people are sufficient for the deployment.
