NetCool is a very old tool. The documentation library is very vast. We will find answers for all our errors. New tools like Moogsoft have documentation libraries that are evolving. They may have errors that have never been documented. NetCool’s community is very strong.

The solution was already implemented in the organization when I joined 15 years ago. We are currently evaluating other options because the cost of Tivoli NetCool is so high. I am looking at SolarWinds as a possible alternative. 

I was brought in on this project for the implementation once the decision had already been made to adopt the Netcool solution. I am not aware of which products they chose to evaluate.
