We used an outside vendor for setup but easily handle maintenance because our skills with Linux or other technologies allow us to find solutions 90% of the time. 

We have set IceWarp up in-house, and it can be complicated. However, for someone with basic knowledge of Linux and experience setting up servers, it should be fairly easy. However, for a novice, it would be challenging.

The setup for this solution is a bit straightforward and you do not have to update anything. When it comes to high yield, say 10,000 to 30,000 users, the setup might be a bit more complex because you have to implement activities and services from the cloud. In that regard, there is custom work. The configuration might be on the hardware side, but the solution is cloud-based so it is hard to install and deploy in the background.

Initial setup was very easy and straightforward. We even took advantage of the trial period, to minimize risk and at the same time train users.
