I do data migration on IFS, mostly on V10, V8, and V9, and I'm starting to get on the cloud. I also work as a functional consultant on the project and electronic document management modules. These are my two feeds as a functional consultant.

The solution is an ERP. I work for multiple clients, and all of those clients are in different sectors. I do see most businesses take it on and use it as a full business management suite of software. It covers every aspect from human resources through to any operational purchasing, buying, contract, and project management and full finance and reporting suites.

For the most part, in all of my experiences with IFS, when a company embarks on using an ERP of this significance, it tends to be the main tool the business then aligns itself with and uses to run.

We were in an MRP manufacturing environment, and as time and technology moved on in the mid-2000s, it was time to move up to a true ERP system. It was pretty much a no-brainer to use IFS. We looked in the marketplace and found that IFS matched what we did as a project company, and that's how I got started in IFS. I've never really touched another ERP system.

We have the standard package and most of the modules. We don't do any MRO, and we don't have the vehicle package or fleet maintenance. 

We're using version 10. The solution is deployed on a public cloud through AWS.

We have more than 500 regular users.

We have plans to implement IFS in other areas. We have a new company that can leverage areas of IFS that we're not fully into.

I am using IFS Applications for materials management.

I check IFS Applications for information, mainly its archives and employee database. I'm still working on a project for a polygraph company, which still has some technical information in IFS Applications. As a regular ERP system used daily for the business, I last used IFS Applications in 2019 because my company now uses SAP, but I still use IFS Applications from time to time.

In 2019, I was a planning manager, and I used IFS Applications to create a production plan and check the production from a planning point of view, and that was my most significant use case for the solution.

We are using IFS Applications for HR, payroll, finance, and supply chain manufacturing. We use quite a lot of the modules.

I used to be an implementation coordinator and after that, an IFS administrator in a big production company in Poland. Implementation included HR, Payroll, Finances, Production, CRM, sales, inventory, supply, projects, documentation, maintenance, and services, as well as quality management. 

We used almost all of the modules which were available when we signed an agreement at the end of 2015. I'm not working for the company now; however, as far as I know, there are plans to update IFS Applications 9 to IFS Cloud.

I am a consultant for supplies procurement, sales, and inventory management. I implement the supply chain and maintenance modules such as object navigator, APM, asset performance management, and ERP. We use the solution in my company for manufacturing, splicing, and maintenance service maintenance. After that, MRO, management, and overhaul. It is a manufacturing company, and we're using many ERP modules.

I am employed in a Swedish company that sells cosmetics directly through bank partners and not through stores. We have many use cases of the solution in our company. The tool is mainly used for backend processes or backend services which include product development, HR, finance, supply chain, and warehousing.

We are using Assyst in a Hybrid environment with Assyst app servers running in our own virtualized servers with the database and storage in Azure Cloud, which works well.

We use the system for IT Service Management across 16 ITIL v3 processes as part of a cohesive service management platform for delivering shared services for large organizations.

We integrate to Azure AD, LUIS/BOT Framework for insights and Virtual Agent support, as well as NetSuite for the asset, user, and billing interfaces.

Our focus is on process efficiency while ensuring a great customer experience.

I would refer to the multipurpose system as one that can be scaled to fit different companies and their various business needs. I have worked closely with companies that use the solution for both manufacturing and service. Service in particular is an area where the solution excels. For example, a company that builds machinery could use it for after-market sales and maintenance.

I mainly use IFS Applications for auto management and manufacturing modules.

My organization only uses the finance module, but it depends on the modules your company needs.

I use IFS Cloud Platform to run our business since I am a part of a service organization, where we use it throughout the business and to manage our service engagements with customers related to projects, especially where the sales and service contracts are heavy.

I am using the distribution model, mainly for materials management.

The main reason for the ERP project was to bring together our fourteen sites, which had until then worked in separate silos.

Customer use the solution for complete CRM.

I'm working on UPD 12 and IFS cloud applications. IFS has multiple product lines from ERP systems to Enterprise Asset Management and service management system. They also offer a maintenance module, provide operational inclusion software, and R&D. These are their main offerings. I have used this application in two industries, predominantly in manufacturing and aero defense. Both sectors have successfully deployed this solution. So far, we have good testimonies from Emirates Airlines, Lockheed Martin, and many other regional players who are into independent fleet management or MRO kind of services.

We used Assyst to apply ITIL processes for more than four years:

• Service request management
• Change management
• Problem management
• Asset management
• Service level management

Then we started using it to manage our shared services center for HR, finance, facilities.

We use it for all our company's needs, including finance, accounting, and production.

I am using IFS Applications for the finance module applications and also for all of the submodules in finance such as AR/AP. It covers all of the finance areas.

Our client primarily uses the solution for IT service management as well as business service management. 

Our primary use case for Assyst was in a governmental institution here in Brazil around that time. It was a project, during which we spent some time traveling in Brazil and implementing solutions. It was government implementation.

We provide the implementation for our clients.

IFS is an ERP, that is globally ranked number four. It's a master's in enterprise management and foodservice management. 

Globally, we are doing multiple projects with many of our clients, but most of these projects are coming as a transformation to digital. As a part of the digital transformation journey, we need to understand the cloud solution as well.

We work in the four segments and we agree with the enterprise solution in the workplace.
