Infor dEPM Initial Setup
The initial setup is not difficult, and I believe it's manageable. However, from a user's perspective, it can be somewhat cumbersome, particularly when attempting to utilize workflows and make posts. The process can be time-consuming, and I need to set it up properly.
Initially, the setup and configuration are similar to Jedox, if that's what you're familiar with in terms of products. We follow a well-defined plan for each of our custom-built models. It's important to plan the development process based on understanding the end-user requirements and deliverables. By planning backward, we can ensure better design and easier model delivery.
It's deployed on AWS, specifically the private cloud. They also offer a multi-tenant cloud solution, but there's a distinct on-premise version as well. The on-premise version provides more end-user insight and caters to different needs.

Head of Controlling, Planning and DWH at a insurance company with 201-500 employees
It was 20 years ago in regards to the initial setup. As I recall, it's not that easy. That's why we were hesitating. We have another mother company now and we should have used the corporate solution, however, we hesitated to move to the corporate solution. It's a complicated situation to move and integrate to a different solution in that environment.

Infor dEPM is very easy to deploy. I'd give it a ten out of ten for for ease of deployment. First, we find out the customer's requirements and create a demo for their specific needs. Next, we customize the solution to handle the customer's requirements. We then train the customers and start implementing their live data.
Our customers have the solution deployed on the cloud or on-premises. The deployment took about a month.
